i get sleep paralysis all the time. it started when i was 14, i’m going to be 21 on sunday. you’d think you’d get used to it but you don’t. the initial feeling of falling into the paralysis isn’t so much scary as it is frustrating, it’s the fact that you’ll never know what you’ll see.

@@IZayYuh17 I have had it nearly everyday for a very long time now, ever since I was 19 and stayed at my grandparents in the room that my great grandma died in. At first, it was terrifying, but after about a month or so of it happening all the time, I got used to it and now its pretty normal. After some time you should be able to control it somewhat. If you dont know how to... well I'd be surprised if youre actually having it that often. In order to "break out" from it, you are going to want to wiggle your toes. Eventually, you'll get this break out type of feeling, when you feel that, try to move, if you cant, keep wiggling the toes. But once you can move, get up no matter how exhausted you feel and take a minute. Ways to prevent this from happening, that has helped me so much, is simply sleeping on your side. Dont stay up late and stick to a consistent sleep schedule! It works really well! If you cant sleep on your side, sleep with a tennis ball in your pocket if you can haha. I've never tried this, but it was recommended for me. Lastly. talk to your doctor, and get magnesium vitamins. It will help you stay fully asleep. I've been dealing with this for 5 years, my fiancée has heard me trying to scream before and now she wakes me up if she hears me haha. But yeah, eventually you'll be able to make yourself fall back asleep, and it wont be as scary.

14:00 I've actually experienced sleep paralysis several times (except 99% of the time my eyes are closed) but there was this one time in 2015: My eyes were closed except i could move my entire body but for some reason i couldn't open my eyes (it's like they were glued shut) so i sat up and tried to use my fingers to force my eyes open nothing was working. I started panicking then i just felt something pull me back down to the bed and finally my eyes forced themselves open. All I saw above me was this grayish ghastly hand with claws and I guess it knew I was looking at it because it quickly went under my bed. I remember getting up and going to the furthest corner of my room and looking under my bed and there was nothing there. Still terrifies me to this day because I really don't know what that was.

As someone who unfortuntaly dealt with sleep paralysis on numerous occasions, ive learned to deal with it but the first time it ever happened to me, yes it was a freaking terrifying experince who i dont ever wish on anybody. You cant move, its hard to breathe, it feels like some unfamilar figure(s) are in the room with you. If anyone does ever experince it, the best way to get out is too relax, understand none of it is real, and slowly wiggle your fingers and toes, by doing so it'll wake up your body and you'll snap out of it within a minute or two.
