I'm realizing that I've been letting my overthinking hold me back from taking action. Love the room, and the genuine pride and gratitude you shared in this video. When my daughter was small, the one thing she loved most about her room was the far wall from her bed. We split it in half, and on the left side we put blackboard paint so she could draw what she wanted whenever she wanted--and she always insisted that we play with her and draw on the higher area she couldn't reach. On the left side, I used Command strips to hang big panels of corkboard where she could tape her pictures, drawings, and photos (eventually, she was able to use pushpins, but until then, she had Scotch tape, masking tape, and blue stick putty). In fact, she kept her wall like that until we moved, and that was when she started middle school.❤❤

Thank you for your comment! I just feel like I had to say something.. because this is such an interesting take. We truly appreciate the support and the efforts of everyone who has been involved in the boys' lives. The intention in sharing this specifically was to celebrate her accomplishments as a single mother, which doesn’t diminish the contributions of me or our families, Each of us plays a unique role, and we are proud of everyones path and growth! I actually didn't have much to say because Cerose really did it majority by herself... she really is a BOSS, while support is valuable, she's navigated challenges on her own and made it happen for our kids especially when I couldn't! I was an absent father for years... and I feel like single moms don't get the credit they deserve because certain things are just expected of them. Creo que la juventud, falta de madurez, compromiso a tan temprana edad + las experiencias de vida de cada uno jugó un rol importante en lo que les pasó. No pasa nada si desean o intenta reconstruir a la pareja por ende la familia. Pero que lo hagan con consejería de pareja de manera Permanente. También puedan conseguir ayuda de un sacerdote. Tomenlo con calma, vayan despacio hasta llegar a la meta deseada por ambos. Y Si se mantienen como co-padre está bien también; lo importante es que los nenes/niños vean un frente unido en aras de su crecimiento, desarrollo, amor, pertenencia y valores que destaquen sus vidas.
