The other thing with NZ is that even though it has big mountains it doesn't really have any high plateaus. There's just big f-off mountains that come straight down to dead flat valleys, and they're often well below 1000m. There's several towns in AU that could make use of snow blowers, but not many in NZ.

You have a decent F-off glacier that happens to overlook an entire valley and is idyllic to proposing to your NZ girlfriend.

They are surprisingly handy. I sold a ton of them from Toro when I lived in the Northeastern US. Fantastic for clearing smaller areas like a small walk or a balcony/deck. Combined with a power broom, you'd be unstoppable all winter! Maybe pick one up for a job where you make mountains of sawdust! lol.

Hey Tools just wanted to let you know the notification for this video came in as it should. I haven't noticed any issues with those. At least not with your channel. It would be a handy attachment if I had more m2 of driveway etc to clear. But for those few days of snow that is actually worth shovelling, a 15 euro shovel and some elbow grease works fine.

i have SW400MP and BR400MP - they are limited useful in our snow conditions ( Latvia ) they suffer on wet snow, so I use simple showel. Before Makita I used 200V broom - and it was even less useful. This stuff will help you if you have very cold and snowing. ps Having UX01G ( a bit better, yes ) and DUX60 as a driver

I don't see it on Makita Canada yet, but that doesn't surprise me in the least. I would probably not use it since where I'm at it doesn't get a lot of snow and when it does snow I sort of like shoveling it. Mind you last year I was F'd for about a week when I threw my back out shoveling.

Can't be of much help on this one either ....since I live far enough south in the US that it rarely snows, and when it does (once or twice every few years) everything tends to shut down for the day (or two) it takes for all of the fallen snow to melt. Which is probably just as well since the roads are crowned to deal with the massive amounts of rain we do get in place of snow & ice during the winter. Also, considering the local government's don't have much in the way of equipment to deal with much snow & ice and even less experience/knowledge of when/how to use it best it's usually faster/easier/cheaper to just let the sun take care of the rare snow & ice we get in this part of the US. However, the snow in the tool promo video looks like it'd partially melted & refrozen previously ...which would be somewhat impressive for such a lightweight/small tool to be breaking/throwing it since the bottom lay may be solid sheet of ice, and the upper parts frozen into a frozen hard pack of snow (I've dealt with more than a little snow & ice having grown up in the northern US -- and I don't miss dealing with that much snow & ice at all). ..so they at least didn't show it working in a light powdery snow that even leaf blowers could move.
