It’s called Cognitive Dissonance. You also have to understand that it’s extremely hard to leave an entire tight knit community where they draw on the fact that they are small in number and it’s them vs the world. That is part of what a cult is. They essentially lose that community. Remember, their family and friends are Qadyani. But what they need to understand is that leap to the truth is what Allah SWT requires as he tests everyone. Look at what all the Prophets went through and that was WITH ALLAH SWT communicating with them. Ex-Qadyanis need our support. We need to seriously consider starting a resource group for ex-Qadyanis to get their new life started.

Hes sacred of the truth and hes very close minded. He cant come to the terms of his belief being false. Even if the evidence was clear as day light he will say its wiswas and from shaytan. This is why my next option of advise for these individuals are dua and night prayer. He needs to ask allah to force him into believing the truth. Because you can say " ya allah show me the truth" but that doesnt mean you will accept the truth after allah shows it. You need to ask allah to force you to believe in the ultimate truth even if that means you have to go through pain. When i was going through doubts in imaan this is what i did. Because evidence wasnt enough for me . I came from a sufi background and alhamdulilah after making so much dua and night prayers alhamdulilah i was shown the reality of sufism. Dua can take time somtimes so don't give up. Have trust in allah and pray the night prayers and beg allah to force you to accept the ultimate truth.
