Well I expected Rick to just be friends with geith and thank him for pummeling Angelica because she is always making fun of him and being detestable all the time and that he is sorry for interrupting him while he was pummeling her to death Yeah Rick! You should be sorry! He was doing you a gargantuan favor by killing off your bully enemy Angelica. If she was dead, you would have nobody making fun of you Rick should have helped geith to beat up Angelica to her death

I think the best thing he also mentioned this episodes is true prodigys still work and put hard effort in. And that even if he's a prodigy he is a level 1 prodigy I believe he's right ignorance lack of humbleness can vary easily sabotage your own potential

@@derekstapleton3396 sad. i would have loved to see her older brother, rastor, become a character that comes back once in a while as a seto kaiba-like rival. that he ironically took rick's advice (polish even his weakest spell to its full potential), and even if he didn't become stronger, he became way more skilled at using all the spells he has in creative ways and genuinely managing to improve through training and effort ... but only so he can humilliate rick one day and get his petty revenge (as long as the motivation works, am I right?) would have made for an even bigger contrast with angelica growing in her own way by training with rick & reannette

I've been a fan of Worlds Strongest Deciple Kenichi. It's awesome that this is pretty much a fantasy/issekai version of that in a sense. Though it would be nice if this were a little slower paced. I'll certainly be interested in maybe seeing some matches that are a little more even. Series tend to get a bit boring with the MC is too OP. At least with Kenichi we got to see his gradual build up from a nobody, to becoming a beast. If you haven't seen that series, I certainly recommend it 100%.

This is why I like playing humans in dnd. Most players look at playing as a human as unimaginative, basic, boring, and to a degree I can see why. But in a world where so many people are born able to breathe fire, survive lethal blows just by sheer will, fly, swim for days, and so many other things simply because of what they were born as the idea of being human and STILL excelling as an adventurer despite not having any unique or special ability from which race you are born as is a much better story. “You were born with scales tough as iron and can smash boulders? I TRAINED to be able to do the same thing. So what makes you special besides just coasting off of your basic ability as a magical race?”

Emm. In general humans are a S teir 0ECL race. Medium sized, an extra skill point, and more than that, an extra feat. The combination means that outside access to specific classes, a build that was gonna need a specific weapon to work, or build that needed to hit an attribute of 20 at level 1 humans were alwase an above average pick and frequently best in slot, particularly in near 20 and low level campaigns, where the skill points+0ECL or the extra feat really shine ...Mind you, I stopped playing D&D in 3.5, and switched to Pathfinder 1 when 4.0 became the D&D norm
