It's sad that people can be so ugly and feel no remorse. 😢

My mom & dad stuck it out, but I came from an abusive home as well. But it taught me to love more, push more for others, be there for those who are alone going through with them, what ppl didn't do for me. The love of Christ is the reason that we love, dear Austin. ❤️🙏❤️💯✨️🇩🇰 God's richest blessings to you & your entire family.

You should be proud because you did not repeat this cycle for your kids. You really turned it around. Wow! ❤ awesome. I grew up in crazy and then repeated it by marrying a horrible man. This was a nightmare for me and my boys unintentionally. 😢 I am still trying to correct by I am so tired.

i remember being beaten so badly by my dad that I was in shock and limping for a second. And the second I walked out of the bedroom, my dad turned to me and said “why are you limping?”

Thank you, Austin. I heard you talk about your broken home at the concert in Roanoke, VA. This song touched me as my ex husband abandoned us. My 13 year old granddaughter was next to me at the concert and I think she understood what her daddy experienced, growing up in a broken home. ❤❤❤

I can relate with this big time because I am finally seeing in about the last three or so years true freedom from a childhood of abuse from a narcissistic mother. I know exactly what he says and it's only through Christ that I have found healing and true meaning in life.

This is sadly heartfelt but your song is so, so beautiful so many of us have stories as this, me a female, my mom left me at 13, that was 55 years ago, but the beauty was my father was wonderful and I had so many moms that made me feel loved...I have a beautiful beautiful daughter and son in law blessed for sure, the lesson I always ask is please don't marry, don't have children if you don't want to be a husband, wife or parent and also fast forward if you find a person from the past that maybe love is still available don't give up ...this is such a beautiful interview I so love when a man can show true love and emotion you are a wonderful human and I wish you and your family all the happiness you deserve in life❤

@makelifematter1896 hi I am not sure if you are mentioning the artist in this video's song because I really don't know of any song I have sang that I spoke of lol. I look at your response and I am not sure if you are speaking to me but thank you for sharing some things about yourself. As for myself since I posted this comment I am not speaking with my immediate family and I only see some of my family here and there. I have a good brother in Christ who I have fellowshipped with lately and well he has been a blessing and great help in this time of need where there has been some healing and deliverance since I last posted things. Once again thanks for your response and well I am not sure if you where reaching out to me or someone else. God bless and have a good day.

Keep praying for them. Jesus says “reside in me and I wil reside with you and anything you ask shall be given in my name” (that’s basically the verse sorry bad memory). Keep reading your bible. Pray for understanding in to what you’re reading. Pray every day and every moment that you wish He was with you. Guess what? He already is. “He promises to never leave you or forsake you” Jesus also says we will endure many trials especially as Christians. The dark don’t like the light shining on it bc it exposes the sin. Take time to be alone with God every day even if it’s only 10 minutes as you start. Ask him to forgive for your sins and to be able to recognize them in future to pray specifically for a sin. Be the light that God created you to be Oh and as far as our trials Jesus promises to walk through them or carry us through them if we can let Him. Dear remember nothing is to big or impossible for God. ❤

Using the term "broken" family because of divorce or dysfunction is not helpful. I know dating couples say they "broke up," but that has a different connotation.
@melissaseeley47943 ай бұрын
Yes, that term may not be helpful to those that are blessed and fortunate to be from an 'unbroken' home, but those who have experienced divorce or dysfunction in their home know that the term 'broken' is an exact and accurate term for what their home is like. Broken may be the foundation of growing up, but Praise God and Jesus Christ, it doesn't have to stay that way, and it can be different for the next generation.
@ms.rlsteele3513 ай бұрын
@melissaseeley4794 I disagree that "broken" family is the right word. Parents or partners going their separate ways changes many things. But when there is apathy, disrespect, fighting, disinterest, arrogance, and abuse, "dissolution" is the best option. The family is generally less chaotic by being reconstructed and reconfigured.
