Cook food especially Gulper Slurry from Moonshine Jamboree. It is easy to walk away from Moonshine Jamboree with 60-100 Gulper Intestines (or whatever they are called). If you cook all of them up, you can sell it to any Protectron merchant for 3-6 caps per Gulper Slurry. Not a bad turnover.

Do a few long-winded quests for them, and you get a larger backpack with the opportunity of modding it for more utility. Look up a guide for the most straightforward way of obtaining it as it can take a couple of hours.

Best thing I discovered is that when you use VATS, you can just hold the critical button and keep shooting and it will auto use the crits every single time they build up. It's especially helpful when you use auto weapons with low AP cost, big ol' critfest occurs 😊

I would suggest always diluting your Chems when selling to vendors. You can easily double your potential caps when creating diluted radx Radaway stims and super stims by using the perks chemist and super duper. They also weigh less and are nearly just as effective for day to day use as well.

Make sure that if you get any legendary gear you know you won't use or sell, scrap it at the legendary machines at the train stations, it gives you a currency called scrip that you can use at the rusty pick to buy new legendaries but more importantly you can use it to buy legendary modules to re roll the legendary effects on the guns and armor you like

If you have a daily "scrap junk to create" a material (steel, cloth, etc.), most of these materials can be crafted in "bulk" from your storage. Craft 1 unit, scrap, and return materials to storage to complete the daily. Saves having to scavenge. Also, remember soap is an oil resource and there's plenty in the salon across from Artisans Corner at Whitesprings.

Craft a syringer with Endangerol ammo, if you shoot a bigger enemy with it, it greatly reduces their armour rating. If you’re in a team and several of you shoot a big enemy, this effect stacks and they can end up with minus armour rating,. Then get out your big guns and kill it quickly.

you can place water purifiers under water at your camp. there is a lake near the power plant on the right side of the map where you can place your camp module inside a boat and place all your water purifiers under water and raise a platform above water to hold your generators. i have gotten around 400 water from that place in one day for farming glue and flamer fuel.

I had a hard-learned lesson, yesterday. We had a mutated event with the jamboree and the mutation was reflective attacks. I wasn't paying much attention and charged a gulper with my vampire chainsaw. I was dead in an instant. WTF?! I wish things died that quickly when they _attack me_ with my Ricochet perk card active. Had to learn not to attack anything when it had a white shimmering glow around it. Game went a lot smoother once I figured that out and passed that information to team mates. =)

Honestly when the game dropped i got to level 65 in about a month in a half and it was so fun then i stopped playing with friends and just by myself and was quickly humbled on that i had no real idea what i was doing or how to really play so i dropped it for the last 4-5 years and wrote it off, I recently came back 2 weeks ago and i re fell in love with it and am now level 87 and am learning everyday its so fun once you know what your doing this game just needed time to season.

The great thing I have heard from players is that Pacifist mode is now on by default which is amazing for sure with new players and as the other comment said the perk Light Foot is amazing for not setting off traps but you def. still need to be cautious going into a camp for sure. 💙

Pacifist mode is indeed On by default, but sometimes entering a Shelter will randomly switch it on, so check on it every so often.

Well I would not recommend removing mods if you found the item with them already because it is very difficult and time consuming to modify weapons. ( you have to learn the mod, have to have perk cards leveled up to make those mods, you have to have the resources as well. ) I recommend never adding a mod unless you plan on using it right away.

I know that there are items in the wasteland that you can only get once. Maybe through a quest or such. Not knowing that there are a few items, that once you drop , or trade them will be gone, and NO way to get back. For example, the Cave Divng Outfit, or even the Camden Park Uniform. A couple great tips for new players is that sleep in a bed until it says well rested and you'll get 5% XP boost for an hour. Also playing an instrument gives you 15 ap regen boost. You can check your stat boosts in the pip boy stat tab on effects. Also near the start you wanna try get the AP sprint reduction and boost cards since you'll be doing a fair amount of running.

I’ve played a lot of Fallout games and can navigate my way through most of it through trial and error, but the legendary system, cashing in legendaries for scrip at the Rusty Pick was a serious unknown. I only found the place by joining a casual team at lvl 30 who gave me a bunch of loot, but it wasn’t until today when I turned lvl 40 that I discovered how to use the scrip to buy legendary weapons/armor though I suggest investing in the modules especially since they are cheap-ish and you can put the modules into a weapon or armor you genuinely like and not risk getting a 3 star legendary item on a switchblade/crowbar (which happened to me 😂) Also another thing I’m glad I learned early on, if a player drops a bag of loot and shoots at it it means they want you take it, that it’s a gift 😬 And finally for new players, some players like to set their ‘store’ items with absurd prices. Don’t always buy items that are 2000 caps or more just because you want it, chances are you’ll find it a crap-ton cheaper elsewhere. I nearly blew all my precious caps on a straight jacket for 2000 caps, a couple days later I bought it for 10 caps, same thing with a Blood Eagle outfit for 6000, got it for 5 caps. You can’t buy caps for the game really like you can with atoms, so save your caps for when you really need it. I missed out on the animatronic clown item because I didn’t have enough, now I’m forever on the hunt and saving for when I can get the plans.

there is one perk i would say should be used by *every body* at *any given time* in fallout 76 because it feels like its a god-like one - and it only costs 1 point! Srsly, if you run around the wasteland, go get "good doggy" in Endurance. as i said, its only 1 point and totally worth using, reasons why: - 1 point only in Endurance - triples the effect of an food item (30%) which is also a good healing sorce as well WILE said food item is also easy to come by AND *never* rots - Learnable and usable very early on at level 8

A tip I could share while playing Fallout 76 is not to speedrun the quest that gives us the opportunity to unlock gold. If you skip the Foundation missions at the end, as in my case, you will lose the opportunity to complete quests that give you Chinese armor, which is a mandatory build for a silent assassin.

Except that most people who play stealth don’t use the Chinese stealth suit . It’s mainly used for its in built rad-resist by low health players in nuke zones. It also pops up from time to time for sale for gold if you miss the quest.

name your camp too. i sell compound bows because its a long rep grind to just get the plans and i usually have 2 basic non legendary ones for sale and 2 3* of various effects and *they sell out every time i log in* simply because the name of my camp is *"COMPOUND BOWS FOR SALE"* find a niche and work it, and you will be at max money all the time.

If you are never gonna use it (i.e. an equipment not for your build) scrip, scrap or drop it somewhere someone can find it. Old schoolers leave shit at the White springs rain station (blue suitcase under the skeleton) I drop it in the hallway at the White springs Mall. It will be gone in 10 min no matter what it is. And tip number 2. Gun powder and inert flux weigh a ton. If you're over weight and can't figure out why, that's probably why

I get it, you love your spot and love how it looks with all the building you’ve done but maybe you need a resource that another location has or want to be close to a possible event or workshop. Here's one I wish I knew sooner: If you already have a character that's unlocked legendary perks, those legendary perks are unlocked for every other character you have. If you have a level 300 character, new characters can equip all six legendary cards the moment you get your Pip-Boy in the Vault.

So we made this video in 2023 but honestly tldr expeditions are the best way to get legendary items in 76 right now in 2024. Also, on PC the chat button is caps lock but you can change that and make sure to switch to area chat because that is what most of us are on. Thanks for watching and being here. Many of the attachments in Fallout 76 have the chance to be learned by scrapping the weapon. So for that you would need to scrap one and then potentially learn the suppressor. 🤘 There are some attachments like the aligned flamer for the enclave rifle/pistol that can only be attached by a mod bought from a player vendor or npc vendor. 🤘

Another one, for mutations, don't buy serums later on once you've unlocked the whitespring bunker. hop through servers and camps, higher levelled players may have them on sale for as low as 200caps. Wish I knew this sooner.

Hey yall new player here. When he mentions removing mods off of weapons to save storage weight. Does it keep the mod?? It tells me it will destroy them.

The mods wont be in the weapon if you remove them but if you know those mods you can always re apply them back. Though i would suggest only doing this after you are sure you got all the mods or atleast the mods you want from the weapons. Theres a button you can press (predefined as V for pc platform) to check what mods you are missing and how to obtain them

Yeah, it destroys them. If they are good mods keep them on as it is a long road to able to add some of them again. Just don’t add mods to an unmodded weapon that you are saving until you are ready to use it. Also spend the caps on mods kits from vendors and players as you see them , high level players know most mods and kits are not worth much to them. And just store the mod for later use.

Welcome to the wasteland bud and great question. As the two comments have said this is really for mods that you know on the items to save weight if it is just going to sit in your stash box. Over the time of playing you will learn most mods so it won't destroy them at that point. There are items like the scout armor and enclave plasma rifle that you won't want to remove mods just for information in the future.

Fallout has been my favorite game since I discovered it way back on ps3. I wish I knew that it’s not as intimidating as it seems to play online. I also wish I knew my stash box was “my” stash. Just basic dumb rookie mistakes I would make or things like nukes keeping me from playing. Not realizing their blast radius is small and not the whole map. OH and that you can move your camp. But everyone who plays four seconds will realize all this. I’m just old and need helpful videos like these to keep me fresh 😂

If you are playing on a Xbox create a group post so that you can sell legendary items that you don't need for caps in your vendor after you have hit your daily srip limit

That is strange because the bond should just happen over time. Make sure that you are on a public team because a private team doesn't have the bond or bonuses.

Understanding the randomness of rolling for legendary effects. Go to a private non-official server. Make the settings so that crafting has no cost. But look at what cost to make on official game. The randomness of the role is exactly the same as official. NowPick two completely different weapons/armor and with three legendary effects you would like on each. Now Roll legendary until you get the weapons/armor. It could it could take 5 rolls or 1000. Once you do that you'll get a truer understanding of why vendors sell some guns for higher prices.

dont learn every single gun or armor plan you see or get. especially the player locked one. you will not get them if you dont learn them. so if there is something you dont need like a plasma caster then dont learn it. would also add learn the fixer plan as soon as you can because you wont get that as a drop if you dont learn it either. and its one of the best guns in the game and even if you dont use it its valuable to other players. and can be muled if needed. with every plan you learn you learn you will dilute your drop table (out side of the base items that you dont have to learn) with items that you can not mule and can not sell to other players. so if your stash is full and your scrip for the day is maxed then the only option you have is to destroy the item. unfortunately the devs made a reward for the BOS faction quest being forced to learn a player locked PA set. so if you are not a PA user then you are forced to dilute your drop table with 14 lb a piece or 10 (total) if you can fit them on a frame PA pieces. if you chose to do these quests. personally i have never done them ( on a normal server) because i didnt want to learn that plan.

So most tend to do the queen or titan fight since there isn't an instance limit to the fight and for Project Paradise it is hard to do solo and with two people but I try to do them all the time when I can. Just make sure to go there and stand up so folks can see you there. If you are crouched folks won't know you are there and won't join it if they think they are solo there.

I have a dilemma is it better to use the chinese stealth armor and 15 agility or a secret service undying set and have 30 agility? I'm pretty much undetectable now that I have 24.

So a great thing about using the Secret Service is the added protection and if you use the Stealth perk card you should be set for being stealthy. The Chinese Stealth Armor is usually the preferred rad protection in a nuke zone for players. Great question bud 🤘

New update on my build, if anybody wants to know more about it, It's partially useless having so much agility, enemies won't see you but if they get alerted they will shoot at the position they think you shot from(all the times is where you are) so you will die anyway if an enemy is using some AoE heavy weapon. A hint I can give you is to keep moving to avoid getting killed by an npc that didn't even know where you were

I don't know about you guys but sometime collecting items to build a CAMP is like taking 30 bag of grocery from the car in to the house. Heavy as hell and walking like I am going to poop my pants. I just want to build normal nice camp where we can all party but based on everything seems like it is gonna take me years to build it. Any idea how to speed things up with camp? I always running out of wood and steal even it is everywhere.

So as far as getting supplies I find doing events or even going to areas like Blackwater mine and then collecting the "donated" items from the creatures to take back to scrape while having Scrapper equipped is a great way. That is how I farmed a lot of materials for building. I just got shown the Woodchucker perk card in Luck which will increase your wood gathered when collecting wood so places like the Yellow House in Helvetia is an amazing place to get a lot of wood. We may be carry heavy bags of groceries but we will make in one trip. 🤘 Let me know if you need any help or any other questions bud

My biggest pet peeve is the stash system how all of your dressers, fridges, anything that can store items all share the same space. So there’s no point in me Storting clothes in my wardrobe because it may as well be in my fridge. It’s the dumbest system I wish they would change.
