T-Shirt Suggestion and a Story: I met a guy in a restaurant in Aurora, CO wearing the black MORR shirt. I had to ask him, "did you get that shirt the hard way?" and he responded "naw, I bought it." IDEA: For your "trophy" shirts after a recovery, instead of "we'll get'em out" on the back, instead have "I got this shirt the hard way."

Used to have shirts that said: "I made a call". And he would only give those out on recoveries.

A few years ago I saw the video of you taking a trailer down that trail. I thought "if he can do it with a trailer I can do it in my lifted Xterra on 33's"..... Nope, ruined all my steering and it sucked the entire time. Last year I dropped into that trail to show my family in my lifted, double locked, 90 suburban on 35's with a 6" lift. Well it was WAY too muddy to take one of the quick exits and I got way further down than I should have. got stuck after dark, cracked my transfer case, banged up the clean body, and bent my brakes. We got lost when we finally made it to the bottom trying to find the gun range. I've underestimated that trail twice and I will absolutely be prepared the next time I do it.

I was boarding a ferry while towing my 19' travel trailer. At the bottom of the ramp the back of the trailer hit, and before I fully recognized what was happening, cracked the drain mast for the sewage tank. Fortunately I'd just drained it, but I left a trail down the length of the ferry deck. The next year (after $2000 repairs) I lifted the trailer about 4". No more dragging!

As a chubby mechanic, I definitely get it. I was on a road call last night for 5 tires on 5 units on the side of the interstate, part of a trailer fell off another companies equipment and took out a bunch of trucks tires. ~30°F out and just pants and my work shirt with a T underneath. When you're chubby and hustling to get stuff done, extra layers just make you sweat to death and get colder lol.

Oh I can answer this one! Despite what the name might suggest, it's not named for an abundance of rattlesnakes. In fact, there aren't any rattlesnakes there at all. The trail got its name for a completely different reason. It's said that the trail is as twisting and unpredictable as a rattlesnake's movement. This trail, with its sudden turns and unexpected dips, can really keep a 4x4 enthusiast on their toes, much like a wary hiker watching for snakes. But there's more to it than just the trail's winding nature. The name also pays homage to a local legend, a 4x4 trailblazer known for his unpredictable driving style, who they nicknamed "Rattlesnake." He was famous for his ability to navigate the most challenging terrains with a surprising and often unconventional approach. His runs on this trail were legendary, making the Rattlesnake trail a rite of passage for many in the off-roading community. It's become a symbol of embracing the unexpected, of turning challenges into adventures. This brings to mind another legendary twist that happened not on a trail, but in a wrestling ring. But please do not let this backstory distract you from the fact that in 1998, The Undertaker threw Mankind off Hell In A Cell, and he plummeted 16 ft through an announcer's table. Like the unpredictable turns of the Rattlesnake trail, this iconic moment in WWE history reminds us that sometimes, life can take sudden, dramatic turns, leaving a lasting impact on those who witness it.

This UTV shows why it's good for offroad vehicles to carry a jack. I have an American car jack circa 1970s for my desert race buggy and my Baja Bug, and a high lift for my prerun Toyota. Also it would be good to use stage lighting inside the cab that is much less intense so the driver can see outside. Modern video cameras don't need so much light like in the 1930s.

Pretty normal for this personality type. They're just not great at physical contact, and especially PDA. But it is weird, since that guy was obviously not a threat.

It just amazes me at the fact that pretty much every UTV you guys recuse NEVER have winches on them!!!!! Most of these rescues (not in the sand dunes) could so easily be self rescued. Up here in Alberta, and ATV/UTV without a winch is one that's still in the shipping crate! Heck I've even installed a winch on the rear of a few of my ATV's even. Crazy! I'd be way to uncomfortable going in the bush without a winch let alone by myself in one unit without a winch.

That was my first thought. What were they doing out there without a winch? They could have been on their way in minutes. Maybe they wanted to spend time with the crew.

Handy to mount your winch on a receiver tube, and a receiver tube on each end. (And a locking receiver pin, and nice, long wires)

I looked and +4000 lb winch. I think about right size for a side by side? $250 should be with mount, wires. They never say. But +3 hours, 2 men a specialized rig. On a sat night. Stuck for couple hours. I think that winch has paid for itself.

Some times there just isn't any changing of the mind once a person has made a decision. I wouldn't be surprised if they decided to go back because of the confidence they had once they thought about the driving instructions that you gave them. When a person is open and receptive to learning, the proper direction delivered in a smooth manner can do wonders for a person learning and gaining strong experience.

And I want to shout out the editors, really appreciate the movie references and pop culture throw backs they slip in seamlessly and the production quality of the finished product on top of that is amazing, their hard work shows and this episode in particular, the random "Princess Bride" scene with Andre was terrific!
