I have the full Ti version. It has to be opened from exactly the right placement on the thumb stud or it doesn’t want to move at all. I love the knife, but I need to mess with it a little.

So this a bit shorter than all of their other knives. But it has that same Chaves thickness. I'd say for you, stick with the 229 models.
