I used to be a mental heath nurse and worked in an inpatient psychiatric ward for young people. We had a kid once admitted to the ward who genuinely believed he was psychotic. He seemed to be a perfectly normal kid - and a really nice one. We all liked him. One night before he headed for bed, he opened up to me and told me how terrified he was of going to sleep, because "that's when it happens." He started describing his symptoms to me. I walked into the nurse's station, sat down at the computer, printed out the Wikipedia page for "Hypnagogia," and brought it back to him. He read it and his jaw dropped because it described what he had experienced precisely. I think they discharged him the next day. That poor kid literally thought his mind had completely broken. The fact that neither the Psychiatric Registrar who admitted him nor the treating team picked up on this still haunts me to this day...

I can tell you from experience that night terrors are 100% legit. My wife has them 3 or 4 nights each week. She wakes up in a raging panic, screaming and trying to run from whatever she is seeing. She normally will just run through the house for a few minutes but occasionally she has gone outside. I've learned that chasing after her only makes it worse so I keep my distance from her. It's interesting to hear Travis talk about hieroglyphics on the wall. She always sees something on the walls but she has never been able to tell me what it is. Maybe she's seeing the same thing he is...

Travis should look into the bible for answers. Ephesians 6:12 "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places". Sleep Paralysis is a form of demonic activity. They can attack you in your sleep with bad dreams things you don't want to see. And even while you are awake and fully conscious, they can toss ideas into your head like flaming arrows. Of course, you have the control to act on such thoughts and or dismiss them. It's not audible voices you hear in your head. (Schizophrenia) It's as if you think these things yourself. But if you are observant in your character and behavior you can find some of the thoughts that jump into one's mind are not always from you yourself. Some things pop in there and you yourself think why I am thinking about this what the heck is going on here! Why would this negative stuff pop into my mind? I don't have any process of thinking that leads me to these negative thoughts. They just flow in unfiltered to people. These are demonic attacks. The history of evil and witchcraft comes from Sumerian Anunnaki the fallen angels of Genesis 6. And then the same with ancient Egypt. Egyptian gods are the exact same as the Anunnaki just in a later time and different names. Those pyramids were used as places of power where they made covenants with entities and became possessed and powerful. Ironically Travis sees Hieroglyphics. Nimrod the first world ruler and mighty hunter was evil and wicked. Descendent of Cush from Ham's line. The tower of babel and God divided the languages. So, Nimrod (Which is a mockery name) became many names. Epic of Gilgamesh is alternate demonic story of Nimrod's life. Gilgamesh is how they pronounced his name after language confusion. Gibberish - Gil-ga-mesh. He would also be known as Sargon of Akkad. This would possibly be Osiris as well. The story of Osiris was from an original water god (flood survivor) Osiris was cut up into pieces and the pyramids were used to summon demonic entities to bring Osiris back to life, but it would be reincarnated to Horus. Then Osiris goes to rule the underworld. Lots of movies showcase these things too. X-men Apocalypse (Osiris) Him transferring consciousness is like becoming Horus. En Sabah Nur (Morning star) The mummy - Imhotep similar scenario in Egypt. Stargate Amun Ra and the floating pyramid. Check out CERN LHC and the portal they have. With the statue of Shiva, the Hindu god of destruction as their monument. Avengers finding the tesseract when they first bring Loki through the portal. All of those movies are telling the same stories over and over again. They all come from the bible.

And now on a daily basis I spend time with Jesus and encounter his tangible presence which inevitably brings about peace and joy. And I promise you its no placebo. He's real. I haven't had one night terror since. These things that are plaguing your wife are demonic spirits. Please find wholesome church with people that really know Jesus and you can get this dealt with :). @@roddydykes7053when you’re having an episode, you’re paralyzed. There’s no weird acting going on. You literally can’t move and it feels like there’s an entity in the room. Sometimes I would see a dark shadowy figure floating up by where the wall and ceiling meet. Other times it felt like someone was sitting on me holding me down. Another time it felt like my soul left my body and got sucked into another dimension through the nightlight on my light switch. Again the whole time, you’re unable to move. My wife would be sleeping next to me, and have no clue what I was going through.

It is great to see that people start to talk about this kind of experiences. I have gone through different kind of experiences when sleeping. One of the many I have had since childhood. It was 2009 I was living in a small apartment, kind of loft. I had a small kitchen and bathroom and a room where a had a small table and a bed. One night I was sleeping and dreaming and suddenly started to look dark, the situation changed. It was not placid anymore. I wad trying to wake up until I finally did...the room was dark, I was sweating, my heart beat fast..I opened my eyes and above me there was a triangle, I could see it because it was darker than the room..it was floating over me, over the bed. When I realized what I was seeing, I couldnt move, I was paralized. I started to get hyped and kept on trying to move but It was impossible. I closed my eyes and tried to move. When I opened my eyes again the triangle was not over me..I thought it was gone, I felt a realiving feeling, I still couldnt move but I could move my head slightly to the side and I realized that it was not over ..there were four conical black figures around my bed. I was able to see them because inside the room were some kind of blue electric lightings popping up in different directions.when the lightings striken I could see the shapes ...I was trying to control my breathing as I looked around..it felt like a storm inside the room, I felt water flowing, like raining. I was desperately trying to move ....I closed my eyes, I was getting tired of trying until all sudenly stopped. I opened my eyes, the room was dark, I was sweating..I could move finally, I started to look around, everything seemed normal. Until I realized that I am still hearing the water flowing..and then I realized the sound comes from the bathroom. The water was all over the floor. Over the small table I had a laptop that was connected to a cable that was on the floor( that device in which you can connect more apliences. So if I stepped down the bed I had a fair chance to get electrified. I was alone so I had to take my chance and I stepped on the floor, luckily Nothing happened, I walked to the wall and disconected the appliance. then I started to walk to the bathroom, I opened the door and I see the washing machine turned on completely full of water, overflowing water to the floor. I was shocked. I stretched out my hand to disconect it and it stopped. It was around 3 am. I couldnt believed what just happened to me..I lighted a cigar and I had to start mopping the floor with my bed blankets and towells until the morning arrived. At 7 Am I took a shower and I had to work. This is just one of the many experiences I have had along the years.

I agree with what he is saying about it being different than sleep paralysis and also apparently different than night terrors. I had the sleep paralysis and night terrors when I was young and theyre definitely different. I only had 3 that I recall, but it really is like you are awake and asleep at the same time because one I had I was in my room alone on top bunk of a bunk bed and when I woke up there was a man standing at the end of the bed looking at me but I could only see half his face, I was scared and didnt move for like 10-15 seconds and than started to climb down the ladder while never unlocking eyes from this man but in my peripherals I could see that I was essentially awake because the room was exactly the same except for the man at the end of the bed and I physically interacted with my door. After I got down I walked backwards to my door on the far corner from where the man was standing and when I was leaving he turned his head to look at me and I booked went downstairs to get my mom. We came back up not 30 seconds later and at no point did I wake up more or snap out of anything, but when I came up he was gone and we searched the room and the rest of the upstairs and no one was there plus no one could have physically been there because my dad was awake in the next room. It really is strange, I also had one in the same bed with my room being the same but I sat up and looked down at my hands and spiders and insects were crawling all over with blood all over my hands and its just wild. I slept walked a few times outside of that but that I have no memory of. Any time I had these I remember and it was only the two times except the one where it was more sleep paralysis and lasted all night and I was on a never ending water slide and I remember my mom being right there with me in person and hearing her but I couldn't snap out or get off the water slide. Shit's weird and burned in my mind to this day and thankfully havent had any since those and those were like 15+ years ago bc I am 25 now

I understood every word this guy said.. the part where he woke up moving slow-mo and she thought he was joking.. thats no joke.. trying to force yourself to move when paralyzed is HARD and takes all your energy and I see how that happened.. and yes.. the writing on the walls.. I used to see literal handwritten indescribable text across my computer monitors for a month and before that I kept waking up to a door on the wall where there shouldn't be one surrounded by these symbols written in blood all around this fake door and the walls... Sometimes I still see the writing but its very rare and I've never been able to make sense of it.. I believe in spirituality, but to me, the writing is just some part of the brain, especially when I see words I can read and I know where they came from..

One time while camping it must have lasted near 10 minutes, to make things worse my dad would chase after me to try and grab me and calm me down but it would just induce more panic. When I was dealing with extreme anxiety I would have lucid dreams pretty much every night (which I really miss) and I also would wake up paralyzed once or twice per night (which I don’t miss) depending on what I was doing the next day and how anxious I was about it. I never saw anything (maybe because I don’t believe in anything paranormal?) but it freaked me out the first couple times because I didn’t know how to wake myself up. I got so used to it that I would wake up paralyzed and be like “godamnit” in my head and would wake up in one try. The trick is almost fall back asleep and then really force yourself too move. I kinda did the same thing Travis talked about on the plane where he lunged his arms out. Dreams were super fucking cool though

So I have severe sleep apnea. I use a cpap machine now and it helps me with sleep. But I remember one sleep cycle extremely vividly, or lack of sleep cycle very vividly. I went to bed at around 11 pm as I had work at 8 the next morning. I looked up at my clock (I have a projector clock that projects the time on to the opposite wall, very helpful when I want to know what time it is without turning over to check the clock itself). Anyways, I literally blinked once and the time changed from 11 pm to 8 am. I looked at the clock confused for a moment before my mother was telling me I had to go to work. I was absolutely exhausted. Still to this day, I have no idea why that happened.

I get sleep paralysis. It sucks bad and terrible. You try to move anything with all your might and you can’t, this seems like it goes on for hours but probably less than 1. In my early years, it felt like I was being lifted off the bed and a serious feeling of imminent danger. As I got older it turned into a feeling of being smothered, like something or someone is going to stop me from breathing. What I learned is just relax, and pray to Christ. Usually, after I pray, a feeling of peace comes over me and I wake up.

I've had sleep paralysis with hallucinations for the past 5 years or so. It hasn't been as bad in the last few years as I've learned to manage stress better. I've also learned not to go to sleep on my back because that when it's most prone to happen. The first time it happened was probably the most scared I've ever been in my whole life because I had no idea what was going on. All I knew was that I was (partially) awake but couldn't move and there was an entity of pure evil in my bedroom moving towards me. The only function I had control over was my breathing so I started hyperventilating loud enough to wake my wife so she could stir me the rest of the way awake. Since then I've learned to recognize when it's coming on so I can move around before I get stun locked.

Seems this happens to a lot of people I found a few articles online of others seeing writing on walls it seems the common theme is seeing bright orange red , yellow or green writing and symbols in the form of phonecian, hieroglyphic or sometimes just geometric patterns on the wall covering almost everything in the room and the articles also mentioned that it would disappear when they tried to examine it. I found an article on a website called " psychic-junkie seeing writing on the wall " that had many story's of people experiencing this. we definitely live in a world with many unexplained things. People will define a personal phenomenon and decide its a disorder when it potentially could be very important for our understanding of what is truly going on in the life were all experiencing. also the new moonknight series on disney plus the first episode at the end at about 40 mins you can see hieroglyphs showing up on the walls around him where there was none before.

Hey travis and gypsy, i can relate to this very closely or at least similarily. I have always had sleepwalking issues my whole life. I have sleep apnea, and when i get to states of rem sleep i hold my breath. What this does is it causes my body to wake up, while my brain stays asleep. The affects range from, me punching out a glass window, running through a firepit with glass and ash, breaking my wrist jumping off a 10 foot loft bed. His problems although slightly different, sound similiar regarding the aspects of being incredibly confused, and unable to piece together whats going on. Crazy storys.

100% mine started after sexual trauma as a child and they were disgusting, haunting, and extremely torturing. Mine were almost like full blown psychosis and it scares the literal fuck outta me that my brain has that capacity. Its like actual hell... the feeling is more strange than I have the ability to describe. Woukdnt wish it on anyone. I grew out of it but still on rare occasions wake up walking screaming for help, im 28 for reference. Also there is varying degrees to which I would experience it. I would try and escape the house as a child, i knew would to unlock the door and I got out on a few occasions. Really was hard for my parents they didn't know what to do or what was happening. Was def very close to seeing a psych but it have slowed down. I became violent on occasion as well. I remember being scared as a kid that I knew where the knives were in the house and that I'd hurt somebody, it was really fucked up. I was no older than 8 or 9. I 'come to' pretty quickly if it happens now, but before I would be awake for some of it and I'd be fighting to break free from the mental prison I was in and it is such a sick disturbing place to be trapped. I'm so grateful I grew out of the worst of it. Movies would play around me like I was the Main character and they'd rapidly shift but have such a distinct deep and dark twisted overtone with the main theme being immediate DOOM fast approaching at any moment and I can't escape it. Fucking awful as Horrible as it sounds but so so so much worse.
