Heya. I’m a dentist… Your recovery time after each of these procedures will be about a week. After that, there might be some soreness, but the large majority of the pain should be gone.

Please try going to a holistic dentist. I got a second opinion from a holistic dentist after I was told I needed a root canal by a regular dentist. The holistic dentist told me it's a money grab for them to say remove the wisdom teeth and root canal especially if you're not in pain. Reconstructing can be done where you don't have to get a root canal. We actually need our wisdom teeth. Please get a second opinion.

If it's your very back tooth that needs the root canal, I highly recommend seeing if they'll just pull it and leave the adjacent wisdom tooth to move into that spot. The whole point of getting them out is because you don't have room, pull that rotten tooth, and bam!, you got room for one. Only saying this because every root canal eventually needs more work, it's not a permanent fix. Enjoy your videos!

If the root canal tooth is a back molar have um pull it they don't charge much to pull it.I had my tooth in the very back on top decades ago pulled I don't notice it.Dentist charge way too much.

Yo Boog! Don't worry my friend! These procedures you describe are not as intrusive as you think. Trust me! I have 2 Bridges across 6 teeth, 1 root canal, 7 crowns, and several filings. If you are not in any pain, the root canal is a simple, pain free experience. I was in and out of the the office in 1 hour. As soon as the numbing wore off I was good to go. You could post a vid that day! I had all 4 wisdom teeth removed in a day. I was scared and had them knock me out. Once the knock out juice wore off, all was good! Don't be scared, don't worry! You'll be posting vids everyday! No need to break the streak! Love your vids! Keep hustlin'!

Agreed. I grind and have cracked several teeth I had to have crowned. And in my youth I took a softball bat to the face and broke my two front teeth…. Crowns. The worst part is being at the dentist and being given the shots to numb you. Now for wisdom teeth, I had mine taken out when they were still handing out Hydrocodone like candy so I was feeling no pain. Not sure what they give you now but you’ll probs be swollen for just a few days.

$900 is cheap for wisdom teeth. Definitely follow instructions for wisdom teeth recovery. You do not want dry sockets. Follow what oral surgeon recommends especially those first few days when you feel like crap have someone helping you out. The cavity can be done at time of crown but depends on the dentist. Post and crown to replace empty space can be done at the same time but again it depends on the doctor. It will go well, just hang in there. I have had many root canal, posts and crowns and had partial impacted wisdom teeth. I lived with the wisdom teeth that way for 2 years because I had moved and hated dentists. I asked everyone I met who their dentist/oral surgeon was till I finally found one of each I felt comfortable enough to do the procedure with. Stayed with that dentist for almost 20 years when I moved again.

DEFINITELY get a trusted 2nd opinion on those wisdom teeth extractions. Doctors can be as shady as used car salesman, and I'm telling you that from personal experience. Been there, done that. Had 10 implants, 2 root canals, a bridge, crowns on all teeth. I think I paid for the dentist's new BMW. However, get a second opinion. Especially, find a surgeon you like. Implants don't hurt (unless they're failing) but it is a major procedure, and you want good care during the surgery and during your recovery. Also, ask who they use to make the tooth crown. Some are perfectionists, and that's what you want. Root canals don't hurt as long as you're under sedation. After the root canal, there's no nerve, so no pain. You also need a friend or relative that can drive you to at the very least the implant surgery. They put you under general anesthesia, so you won't be in the right mind to drive for a day. Someone will have to bring you home. As for food, you might have a "soft food" diet for a while so the implant grows into your jaw, or at the least only eat on one side if you only have that one tooth replaced. I'm sorry you're going through this. It's more annoying than painful, and takes longer than you'd think to get your final tooth for your implant. Lots of x-rays and dental impressions.

I've had 2 of those things done. Wisdom teeth and root canal. It didn't take long to recover. Root canal shouldn't hurt at all. Not much of a recovery process. The wisdom teeth will be sore for about a week,maybe a bit longer. It's just healing the wounds and stitches. Good luck!

They always wanna do that. . if you're wisdom teeth are not bothering you. . Tell em to leave em the hell alone, they just want that $. . They did that to my sister, . One of her wisdom teeth was healthy and deeply rooted. . when they pulled it they damaged nerves and her face was dropped and numb on one side, till she needed and got surgery to fix the nerve damage.

Take care of getting the tooth replaced. Wait on the wisdom teeth. Bypass the root canal and just get the tooth pulled. Do the bone graft to get the tooth up front replaced. Pre-record now and save uploads while you are not up to recording. You'll be fine!! Prayers up!

It's not as bad as it sounds. I've had all that stuff done, never missed any work for any of it (other than the appointment itself). I never did get the implants, too expensive, a partial was much cheaper, but I do have the sockets, so if I win the lottery I can get them ;-)

Yea, I took a 3 month hit from youtube too. My advice is to keep posting because what they don't tell you is you still need to keep 4,000 watch hours in a 365 day period. If you fall under that they will not let you get monetized until you get another 4,000 watch hours again in 365 days.

Wisdom tooth surgery isn't bad. You will feel better after 2-3 days. Root canal isn't horrible either. Most people get it done one day and return to work the next day.

Listen up okay it sounds like you're being told you need all this and that regarding your wisdom teeth but the thing is I've been through it too and I can tell you right now when you go in the dentist office all they do is talk you up to make it so you got to sign up for more things to get done so they can make more money off you you might not need all that work go get a second opinion and if you're not in pain everyday trust me it can wait or you might not even need what they say you need❤❤❤

Have had 4 impacted wisdom teeth removed and root canals on multiple teeth. It all sucked but it was all necessary. Here's my one piece of advice - ice bags around your jaw will be your best friends after the wisdom teeth removal! Speedy recovery my friend - we'll be here waiting for you. 🙂

When I had my wisdom teeth out, I was about 15. I missed 2 days of school and only had to take painkillers those 2 days. My face was really swollen for about a week but I was fine. Do what you need to to recover but I wouldn't stress about that part.
