I wouldn’t leave Ukraine blank, as though it’s been erased for existence or something. No, it’s not fun for an artist in controversial times to draw attention to a country (especially if he lacks a lot a knowledge on the subject) but to completely disregard it and pretend it doesn’t exist? Doesn’t seem fair, mate. I think a respectful piece is absolutely fine and non-controversial, especially if he acknowledges the current climate and says he wants to do a piece regardless.

Just a heads up that most Belarussians do not recognize the flag you had on your drawing as their flag. It is the flag of a oppressive dictatorship. There is a real flag that is white, red, and white. That is the original flag and the flag of the people

This would be a fun way for kids to remember countries but maybe incorporate something about the country like a national animal/ mythical creature/ National bird Like Scotland National animal is the unicorn. Ireland the national animal is unclear between Irish hare, red deer or Irish elk. In Hungry the national animal is Turul which a mythical bird of prey. Iceland it is the puffin.
