I got Sea Witch Zar'jira from my Quest reward. Fortunately for me, the Quest wasn't that difficult so I completed it on just turn 6. Since I played Reno, I immediately made the Tier 7 card golden. From there, it's just playing whatever I want

I've had same quest, but I had ability to swap my minion with minion from tavern, and then I found tier 5 spell for 5 Mana, that made my Naga golden

Did they do an update on Zesty that if you buff all three before making it a golden you cant buff after and get the spells, or did he keep missing the buff on the third zesty before making it golden?

I can't imagine donkey rolling like 20 times for one card on turn 7 is the right play, but I'm not rank 1 so I guess I'll trust your expertise. Obviously it worked out in this case and it was an easy 1st, but if you can print whatever triple you want every turn starting from turn 6, I feel like you could make any line work as long as that line isn't "waste several turns in a row looking for a specific card," which is very possible with this strat. If you'd just leveled to 5 or 6 and got a few key golden cards, you'd have had a free 1st without the possibility of donkey rolling to death. But again I'm not the expert so I guess I should rethink my analysis. Excellent gameplay as always

The problem is, very few golden 5s or 6s win on the spot + you spend gold leveling, and still rely on hitting combos. A single tier 3 drop, when already holding crooner is much easier to hit than a combo of several 5 and 6 drops

I think you have to think of it as you have an almost completed compo, just miss 1 specific card to complete it So in this scenario is it better to spend 3 turn's gold on leveling hope to transition to a winning comp, or just try to find your missing card considering you have everything aside from this card ? Also you should consider that a specific tavern 3 is much easier to find than a specific tavern 5 or 6 for example, because the pool of minion is a lot smaller in tavern 3 and also you have a lot more copy of a tavern 3 minion than tavern 5 or 6

I guess Jeef intuitively knows the odds and thought "I have an 81% chance of finding it within 3 turns, at which point I have a 92% chance of winning the lobby, which is a higher average placement than if I use my tempo to level," but man that's still a bold play

because their effect is already used, once he uses the clone spellcraft the clones ones also lose their spellcraft cloning until tripled
