My grandma is nearly 80 and asked if I’d ever heard of a song that went “I wonder what became of sally” as her dad used to sing it to her and she wanted to hear it again and I found this and played it to her and she cried with joy at the memories of her dad. Thank you 🙏🏽

I learned to play this song from my dad's sheet music. He grew up during the 20's-30's & this is his era: he was 10yo when Lindbergh flew across the Atlantic to Paris. He used to tell me how much fun he & his brothers had back then, stating "We didn't much money but we had lot's of fun." I'm glad that he always recounted his life from that era because there are very few people left now to do that & I'm writing a book about his childhood & how he & my mother first met in the winter of 1939.
