I Worked At A Party Hostel In Slovakia.. And This Is What It Was Like 😳

So.. I worked at a party hostel in Slovakia for 2 and a half weeks.. and it was hands down the CRAZIEST job I've ever had. Today I wanted to share with you guys everything that job entailed because I know its definitely not your typical job! At the beginning of the video it sounds like the war cry of the Apaches on the warpath! lol 😅 My respect 👍 how you put up with the smoke, noise, and bad air in the dorms. Reminds me of the crazy Isaac's party hostel in Dublin. ☘️😄

It's called wild elephants! I believe they shut down temporarily for renovations but their sister hostel urban elephants is stil open:)

This hostel find excuse to no give deposit money back. There no living room, and room small, kitchen no stove to cook, only 1 stove not enough for many people to cook. Need do bed sheet by yourself check in and check out

Pretty sure you're thinking of a different hostel. There was multiple living rooms, we didn't take deposits and we would take off/put on sheets for the guests (which i personally hated as unpaid staff, working more hours then i was told i would) There were multiple hostels in Bratislava though.

Ouuuuuu I want to go here so bad. Was this like a work exchange thing or were you actually paid to be here also how long did you stay ?

It was a work exchange :) I was supposed to stay 1 month but I only lasted 2.5 weeks before dying from the staff sickness that wouldn't go away with the amount of alcohol we were drinking 😅 they also told me it would be 20-25 hours a week but was more like 35-40 when I got there and I also work a remote job so I never had free time. It was a blast but a bit too much for long term for me 😅

Definitely summer over winter. Just make sure you stay hydrated when drinking as it gets super hot! 🥳 fall is fine too honestly, we were fully booked a lot of days in September

Are all party hostels like this? I'm about to quit my career and go full "yolo" in Europe but I haven't had a drink for years. Too many psychedelics fucked me up, I don't even enjoy the smell any more. If they are all this extreme with orgies and a bunch of naked drunks running around it's probably best I avoid them lol!

Lol no they are not. I just got "lucky" for my first night shift 🤣 it was probably the craziest night there and it was brought on by a guest. Not the hostel itself.

​@@ASightToSee Thanks for the reply! Think it would be weird to stay at one of these and be completely sober? I heard they are sometimes less expensive which is why I'm considering it. I still do crazy things, I just prefer to feel great the next day.

@@GreatReset-ex1gg Nah I dont think it would be weird! Some people might try to pressure you but, there will definitely be people who understand! Itd still be a fun experience!
