OP is foolish for thinking to attend the wedding and then return to his family. You've already helped them, so the new loan they've taken isn't your responsibility. Let them face the consequences of their actions. Let them ask Noah for help, since his marriage is the reason your parents took another loan. Also, let’s face reality. It's true op you did do that on your own taking on the debt. Loosing out on jobs a life, all on you. But, this time around you have a choice, either pay it off or, move out and live your life, your parents although then wasn't taking advantage of you but in time they expected it from you. First and foremost, before you take on that kind of responsibility, even to help family, you gotta have an agreement. Everybody's a part of it: Hey I'm gonna help you so I will stay close by instead of leaving. I will do this sacrifice for you to help you get caught up. You have to do that before you take all that responsibility. So everybody's a party to it and acknowledges what you're doing then later on when they pull that crap and wanna pay for the brother's life wedding, i would have had an issue in the first place with the carefree life that the brother was leading. While I am helping the parents, that would have been an issue because apparently little brother is used to being free, no responsibility and that's the parents doing and Luke to a degree because he's watching it, and he's knowing it's not right, but he's not saying anything. Then, when I overhead them getting more debt for Noah, Id say you on your own. I've helped you all these years. NO family nonsense, absolutely not! I'd tell them my life is beginning and start pulling my financial backing away to leave. Id tell them i'm leaving to start my own life.Now you're on your own, and I walk away and not look back.
