The first thing I would have asked her is...who are you sleeping with that YOU, a stay at home mother, NEEDS a babysitter?
@happilyevernever42892 ай бұрын
OP's sister definitely did wrong by not accepting OP's boundaries, but atleast she wasn't out for selfish reasons. She was actually trying to get help to be better. If only she had been honest with OP from the start, instead of letting shame for needing therapy rule her over. Stay-at-home moms need help too. Especially someone with postpartum problems. Don't say ignorant things.

This story got real wild real fast. Jake's half sister, is also OP's half sister, meaning Jake is also related to OP, if only through a tangential link. So the stepsister Emma married a guy, who has an affair with his half sister, and the affair partner is also related to OP, and that makes both Jake and the affair partner step relations with Emma. This is some family wreath bullsh*t.

That's what I was thinking. Who goes to therapy at 6-9pm?
@marymasavage89863 ай бұрын
I do understand the doubt, I really do, however, some therapists and psychiatrists do take clients on an emergency/crisis basis. Some do even work after the typical 9-5 for those that have no other option and are stuck at work during that timeframe. I've never had PPD, but I have had moments of absolute depression in my past to that point of being a crisis case and I have also had my medicine suddenly stop working due to another medication for another medical issue. I was seen quickly on those occasions and repeatedly until everything was straightened out. PPD can do the same thing and have long lasting effects if not permanent effects. It really all depends on how mentally dire the mental/emotional state is and the potential ramifications of that state of mind.

Whether she's your stepsister or half sister your still not responsible for them. Emma is living her life, you live yours. Your father is wrong. And what's this B's about you owe your parents because they had you, you don't owe them anything but respect. You don't owe Emma. Let her mother babysit. I'm sick and tired of what everyone thinks and stoop to manipulation. Emma chose to have those children, she needs to continue with her therapy. Your dad is wrong in trying to force you to be close; that may never happen. Where is the common sense in this story.

Wait so Op and emma aren't sisters ok but op has a half sister who's having an affair with Jake who's emmas husband but thankfully emma isn't related to the affair partner of jake.but jake and his affair partner are half siblings. If the affair partner is half siblings with both Jake and op that makes them also half siblings. So the half sister of op is having an affair with ops half brother who's her (not related) half sister's husband. WHAT THE ACTUAL FUUUUU---
