He was never a unified champion,when he decisioned Kessler he took his REGULAR WBA belt and at the time Andre Ward was full WBA champion (super). Froch is a 3 x champion,2 of those where for VACANT WBC titles so the only champion he beat to take a belt was Lucian Bute for the IBF title. Froch loves to blow smoke up his own arse

He never fought Calzaghe because they were at different stages of their careers.
