The wrap own gift is cute and fun! I grew up in the 1960's and we saved used paper for the next year. I remember seeing gift bags for the first time and my Mama would always say "Thank God for gift bags!" We used comic section of Sunday newspaper and even had a huge roll of reversible florist foil wrap that we found for like $4.00 when a store went out of business and also a case of deluxe ribbon bows that we got when a dress shop closed... You gave me some good memories today! Thank you! ❤🎄🎁

My mom and I volunteered to be be gift wrappers about 15 years ago and it was through Habitat for Humanity! The table was set up in a Barnes and Noble attached to a local mall but same thing as your experience, people would leave a donation in exchange for wrapping the items!

You guys have the best time! One of the many reasons I love you all! I may have to steal Ashley’s idea. I love watching others wrap, because I loathe wrapping. I always use different types of wrapping paper so it is colorful. You telling Ashley that Tupperware was ugly. 😂 Her friend sounds hilarious! Thanks for sharing this.

I am the world’s worst gift wrapper! I don’t even find it enjoyable. I agree that a large table helps! So do gift bags but I like to see people tear off the wrapping paper. So much more fun!

I had the same issue this year. We had to do a cardboard recycling run bc I saved wayyyyy too many boxes and didn’t need most of them
