Exactly. He blames the sun and says he didn't see the turn. You can see a few seconds before the crash he thinks about carving the turn but backs out and locks up (slight wobble). With intermediate skill, he would have made that just fine but riding that fast on unfamiliar roads and what looks like a road thru several subdivisions and "blind" driveways, is completely irresponsible, reckless, and inconsiderate. Aint just your life homie, riding like that can put others at risk too.

@EverythingsRegular I'm a retired Motor Man "Motorcycle Officer" here's two Motor Man tequniques and one piece of advice that will save your life when riding. #1) When turning at a speed above 19mph push on the handle bar in the direction you want to go, (some agencies teach 15mph) never try to turn the handlebar above 19mph. #2) Never look at an object you're trying to avoid, always look at the spot you want to go to. (WHEREVER YOUR EYES ARE IS WHERE YOU'RE SUBCONSCIOUSLY STEARING) And the one piece of advice is respect speed (SPEED KILLS) Everybody thinks his or her ability has mastered speed until (SPEED WINS) And (SPEED ALWAYS WINS) Glad you're ok 👍

Dude I feel so bad for you. I've been blinded by the sun before but I was lucky and didn't hit a curb. I feel all choked up, just watching this and the kind man that stopped to help you is just heart warming. I heard your say you're okay but then next day know for sure if you've strained or cracked a bone. Looking at your damaged bike brought tears to my eyes. When you got home and showed us the broken wheel and your were riding with a flat front tire I was amazed your could even ride with a flat tire, you've got to be strong to control it. All of us who have been riding for a long time have gone through a crash and we know just how you feel, I've been down and got pretty messed up the last time, broken hip, ribs, collar bone and wrist, took me a year to walk again, surprisingly the bike was barely damaged. Stay safe brother. It's been over a year now, I just saw your video today, just wondering if you had and injuries and if you're okay? Did you fix the bike? I'm going to go and look at your videos, maybe I'll see how it all turned out. I'm glad you're okay bro, be carful out there bro.

That's the sweet spot between fear and confidence. I remember gaining this from an Easy Rider magazine from the 80s. 90 something year old dude that had been riding for about 70 years said something that I never forgot. "Always ride to the COMFORT limit, never beyond". I knew you were pushing it from the beginning. I can tell because you wanted to keep pushing it over the curb instead of finding the path of least resistance to get it back on the street. Take your time, be patient, LIVE TO RIDE ANOTHER DAY!!

My German driving instructor used to laugh. They’d bring a group of new riders to a huge parking lot for free practice of low speed maneuvers. The only instruction was to stay away from the one tree in the middle. Sure enough every course at least one person would hit the tree and everyone seemed to circle it. Target fixation.

I’ve seen this a lot in many different communities when you’re on a motorcycle. I blew a tire in San Antonio coming from a friend’s house and was waiting on a tow truck. About 20 people stopped to check on me and the last family that stopped let me sit in their van with them until the tow truck arrived. When they’re not distracted by their cell phones or trying to cuss you out for lane splitting, cagers can be alright sometimes😎
