Well you sir a sadly mistaken. I was in that exact situation and I wouldn't be here today if I didn't lay my bike down. BTW the bike I was forced to LAY DOWN was a 2002 HARLEY DAVIDSON WIDE GLIDE that I only had for two months and it wasn't my first bike, I've been riding for about twenty years on the roads and longer than that in the dirt. I would then take out a warrant for medical records in addition to a search warrant for blood in order to do a full toxicology screening. @@warped1589 3:27 was the biggest foreshadow. He’s driving like a dickhead. Lanesplitting has its place, but to be doing that in a crowded place like this where cars aren’t looking for bikes, aren’t expecting a bike to be cutting them off from their left turn, low visibility as it is, and so forth, it’s just asking for something to happen. And when the actual crash happened, he rammed into the back of that car. Slow moving traffic that is stop and go, and he’s going considerably faster. Always ride like you’re invisible, and ALWAYS have an escape route in mind for when something goes wrong.
