Great job wrestling at such a high-level event. In that Happel match, it looked like you gave him too much respect and didn't commit on your attacks enough. You got him to step with your snap down/overtie, he steps to club and your outside single is there but you stop halfway. Trust yourself man, you can compete with any of these guys. - signed Useless Peanut Gallery

You’re such an inspiration to my wrestling career going out there when no one else at your level did and doing that well. After I heal my leg, I’m hoping to make it to state and I’m sure you’ll do great at nationals🙂

So I just started watching you. I watched you first tournament and duel that was after this. I think you are going to be great this year because you seemed like you have matured greatly with your mindset. I wrestled my whole life, I was very talented, but I did not have the mindset to be great. I believe that you double down on your faith and keep that mindset that you will be a Division II national champion. Having both the skill and the mindset you might be unstoppable.

I love watching your competition videos, your wrestling at such a high level and it’s phenomenal. How you move, how you attack etc. Really good stuff. The guy in match 3 was tough. Don’t be afraid to pressure back into him. He’s moving you all over the mat which is so much more exhausting for you than it is for him. And when he feels you backpedaling, he can feel less forward pressure which allows him to take shots like at 15:40. It is very easy to take a shot on someone whos head you are controlling especially when they are moving backwards. If you were giving him good forward pressure his attack wouldn’t have been there. Guys like that who are really good at controlling the tie and moving you, you have no choice but to stand your ground. lead foot forward, pressure forward and brace for their snaps. When they pressure back is when your snaps come. Its tough and it will be a fight but its so much better than them moving you all over the mat, because it becomes a slow bleed for you since you will tire out much more quickly than they will.

I’m in the middle of watching your adventure into the world team trials on my 75 inch TV. You got a see these videos at this level. It’s pretty cool. On a sidenote, I looked up a wrestler from my hometown of Kearny ,New Jersey. He’s in the Unlimited category. He wrestled for Virginia Tech, but as a redshirt. Anyway, he won. He’s off to wherever they go to win this title. His name is Jimmy Mullen… Check him out.

Enjoyed watching your matches in this. Another I enjoyed is Marcus Blaze who is really interesting to watch. His fundamentals are like a rock. Everyone talks about his head and hands defense as superior, and Marcus has even taught classes on this. But wrestlers are not dumb. What *isn't* Marcus telling us? It is his footwork that gives him the edge. Notice that Marcus never ever takes a full step (where the heel of one foot is ahead of the toes of the other foot). Technically, Marcus's feet are never separated until he makes his move or countermove. So, when Marcus' feet are like that, and his opponent clearly has one or the other foot ahead of the other (meaning their feet are separated) who is stronger in the position? Marcus is. It is a matter of physics. His *potential* for *movement* is *greater* and that is all. I loved watching Marcus wrestle in the trials and at the World's. He shuffles up on guys like a lazy grizzly bear. No wonder his opponents feel like they are being stalked even though Marcus does not seem to be doing anything intimidating. His opponents generally do not figure him out until after the fact. 😄😄😄

First of all, great wrestling. The blast double is fierce. Watching this online makes me want to get back on a mat so bad. Might want to work on an offense off of an over hook or pommeling out of it. Just some unsolicited critique based off of the first loss. The offense came mostly from the under hook and feels like the under hooks kept you from your offense. Keep up the great work.

You should wear headgear not only to protect your ears but to set an example for the thousands that watch you! Far too many wrestlers have had their ears destroyed by cauliflower ear and it can be almost completely prevented by simply wearing headgear all the time 💪

My family and I wear them like badges of honor. Definitely an option for others if they choose not too
