Really love the feeling tone of the song. It would be so cool if you finished it on your own and do a video on what it morphed into. To increase engagement with your channel you could ask your subscribers to run with what you began to create here and see what they come up with by having them post their creations in the comments. That would be great fun!

Wow. There are times that I take my songwriting too seriously. While some of my songs lean that way, I forget to have fun and be creative. Watching this video gave me a GREAT idea on how to approach 2 new songs I wrote lyrics for. Also, since I write predominantly on my guitar and do country, I tend to get stuck in the G, C, D, Em, Am progression or some variation of this arrangement. My songs REALLY start to sound the same and if I'm tired of it, I can imagine what my listeners are probably thinking. Yes, I can put the CAPO on my guitar and maybe start on E instead of G, and while there are a lot of options there, there's still a lot of limitations for me since I'm not the well rounded player that I want to be. I never even thought of putting chord numbers in a bowl and just pulling them out randomly and see what happens. I've got a few pretty fun upbeat songs that this would probably work great on. I need to watch ALL your videos, take notes and work on finishing the Pianote course that I started. This is already helping me with piano music and while I'm working on adding accompaniments to older songs, I'm inclined to get back and rewrite (musically) some older stuff so it doesn't all sound the same. I know, long post, but thank you SO MUCH for making this video. You really are too cool.
@PianoteOfficial5 жыл бұрын
Thank you for taking the time to write this! I'm so happy you are getting the results that you came for and I hope that I can help you get to where you want to be as a musician! :) Sharing music is so rewarding and it's stories like yours that make my heart feel full! :)
