I realized besides the shorter days, color changes, and "smell", Autumn, at least on the East Coast, has a sound that lets me know it's around. As the leaves dry and fall, the wind through them has a distinct sound, which you don't hear any other time of year, as either trees have no leaves or green, soft leaves. I love it.

10:52 As an ex-barista at Starbucks I can confidently say no sweetener is added beyond the sauce. So unless they've changed something in the last decade it's just espresso shots, steamed milk, and X number of pumps of the sauce. Fun fact: most stores order more than what they need beause of the popularity of it. So after peak season they toss any unused gallon jugs of it.
