💥💥 ARC STUDIO PRO - $30 OFF for your FIRST YEAR with THIS LINK 💥💥 arcstud.io/bigredstripe

I can't get this link to take the $30 off. Any ideas?
@BigRedStripe2 жыл бұрын
When you click the link, it loads an ArcStudio page, and there is a button at the very top to click. You'll need to signup with an email address, and it should take you to the correct page. I'm not sure if the discount is applied just before checkout or not. If you've already entered your email and gone through the steps, you should contact their customer support. They are very responsive, and they should help you get all squared away.

I've always used Movie Magic Screenwriter 6. I might try out Arc Studio.
@BigRedStripe2 жыл бұрын
That was the very first screenwriting software I bought... I think I might have had version 1 or 2. Feeling nostalgic right now. :-) Arc Studio is worth a try, especially for planning and first drafts. And depending on what you like / dislike, it may be great for you. I'm doing a full review in mid-July if you want to wait that long for all of my thoughts. And if you're curious about any features, let me know, and I'll try to speak to them in that video. Cheers, Matt.

@@BigRedStripe Does Ark Studio include an option in which you can listen to it read what you've written?
@JohnnyStroud2 жыл бұрын
Many thanks for the review. I just downloaded the app for the 7 day trial. I currently use 4 screenplay software versions. As an entrepreneur, 90 percent of my writing is done on the go. So I use Fade-In to write remotely and sync, Save the Cat to structure my story, Scrivener to better see that structure and finally I import the work into Final Draft for polishing and export to my agent. If Arc Studio works as I hope it will, I can get rid of THREE of my software choices and keep Arc and Final Draft. Thanks again.

I've been using Arc Studio Pro for over a year now for short stories and my pilot script. I really enjoy the clean user friendly design. I've used other screenwriting software but they just felt too cluttered and annoying.

This is one thing I like about it, too.

I never really used CELTX, but several of my friends enjoyed the older free version, too.

@@BigRedStripe it has some amazing tools but the monthly subscription really turned me away from them.

Yeah, that's when a lot of my friends bailed on CELTX, too... and then they watered down the free version so you really had to buy the subscription, which is priced too high IMO.

Does anyone know how to operate the Arc Studio app? It doesn't let me add a line of description

Is there a dictation audio to text function in the mobile app? Also, can you get an audio read back of your current draft natively inside the software?
@BigRedStripe5 ай бұрын
I don't think that's a feature, but you will need to verify with Arc Studio. I don't use any audio functions like this, so I honestly don't know, and you could research it just as fast as I could.

Question; about the Arc Studio if I was to put my script in their who would be seen it besides myself...?
@rowbygoren50382 жыл бұрын
Arc has an option where you can set up “two factor authentication” where no one can see your script but yourself. And if you are collaborating with other writers you can set up that too with various options. There are other sharing options they offer. …Rowby.
@BigRedStripe2 жыл бұрын
By default, only you can see your scripts. You have to share them as Rowby describes if you want others to see the drafts themselves.

Hi, I tried to contact art studio pro on their website to get an answer to these questions but they never got back to me. Maybe you know? Number one, is there a dictation audio to text function in their mobile app? I’d really like to be able to dictate Using mobile device. Secondly, is there an audio readback function in the software natively who would be nice to illuminate the hassle of export into a PDF to hear a read back of your current draft? Thanks.

Now I see this comment... you have tried to research. I don't know what to tell you. They have always been responsive to me within a day or two. Maybe try to go to customer support as if you have an issue and see if you can get an answer that way.

I've been using Arc Studio for writing and editing my first screenplay. I'm in the process of revising this screenplay with Arc Studio, so I saved the original as different Working Drafts. Question 1: I want to save my main Working Draft as its own Screenplay. I can not figure out how to do this. Do you know how? I tried saving my main Working Draft using the export tool as a .pdf, Fountain and Final Draft, then importing it back into Arc Studio, but the formatting was terribly messed up throughout the screenplay in each instance. Question 2: I figured out how to archive (instead of delete) Working Drafts I no longer want to work from, but now have a bunch of Versions I do not want. How do I delete the Versions? Question 3: At the end of your video, you suggested moving the screenplay from Arc Studio to another script writer for finer detailing and editing. Have you tried transferring an Arc Studio script to another program yet? I'm curious because the formatting was screwy when I tried to export it into one of the other formats. Maybe it's time I graduate from Arc Studio???? I have looked for solutions to my questions through various searches (Arc Studio's guide first, of course) and found your video. Thanks for posting.

To your questions: 1.There is a "save as draft" option. This lets you save the current version as its own version you can always revert to if you like and let you save iterations of it. This will preserve all of your formatting without you having to export / import. 2. I'm not sure how to delete archived versions. I'd check with customer support or their help desk site... lots of questions already answered there. 3. When you export, the formatting is going to be messed up if you've changed any of the default settings (margins, added new elements, etc.). The program you're importing to doesn't know how to interpret those elements. If you know that's going to be part of your workflow, then I'd suggest not changing any default script settings within Arc Studio.. it will export much cleaner.
@BigRedStripe2 жыл бұрын
Yeah, deleting old versions and archived drafts should be a feature. You should suggest that in the requested features.
@ennaecila2 жыл бұрын
@@BigRedStripe Thanks. I've been playing with Arc Studio more. I didn't change any formatting. Fortunately, my Arc Studio screenplay exported nicely as a .pdf, which I was able to nicely export into the free version of Fade In. The Arc Studio .pdf did not export nicely into the free version of Final Draft. The formatting errors are ones that can be corrected with time and careful editing. I didn't try CeltX as I read that it too has formatting issues. I haven't tried any other programs yet, but based on my research, I might be using Fade In for the future.

When it comes to importing into another software, it usually has to do with the software that's doing the importing... not the software that exported the original file. One way to test is to reverse the process. For example, Arc Studio imports .fdx files pretty well (my test had literally three spacing issues... so very, very minimal). Final Draft, however, has no motivation to import an .fdx file from another software... they want you writing in Final Draft in the first place. Should it open up / import an .fdx file without any issues? Yes. Does it? Rarely. Just my experience... doesn't matter what the original software was. PDFs tend to fare better, but there's always a few issues with those. Personally, I use Fade In as my other software of choice. Always loved it. And candidly, when I do a revision into Fade In, I'm not exporting and importing anything. I retype the whole thing. Part of my process. Let's me begin futzing with storytelling elements as I go. So I rarely export -> import anything... at least in my writing process.

I've been using Arc Studio Pro for about 5 months. I love the Beats tracking and notes features, but I gotta say, this software is FULL OF BUGS. I'm hoping to find a more reliable replacement once I'm done with my current project. It feels a bit irresponsible for the developers to put this out into the world given the problems I've already faced with it.
