In a follow up to my previous video, where I located & photographed Comet ZTF for the first time, I decided to setup a tracking mount and use my 300mm lens to get a more close up shot of the comet.

Wow, at Timestamp 9:24 you captured the Matrix 😀 The comet came out really well even with you having to fight the cold and wind. I'm getting all excited now for when the comet comes as close to the earth at the end of the month. Hopefully it will get really bright. I don't think I can wait till it comes around next time.

Love your enthusiasm - thanks for a great video. I live up in Glenshee, Scottish highlands and we get great dark skies but Sod’s law rears it’s head yet again - once the right time to view the comet arrives, in comes the cloud. I’m just gonna have to be patient until the next time it visits us again 😅. Thanks again.

I saw her tonight from the balcony through father's old soviet binoculars. In our city, as well as throughout Ukraine, the lights are often turned off, the starry sky is clearly visible. I am very glad that I was able to see this comet. The last comet I saw was Hale-Bopp.

@@starman1969 But why? How did it happen? After all, the comet Hale-Bopp was visible in 1997 to the naked eye for 18 months! I saw her by chance when we were walking with my father at home on a winter evening. I just looked at the sky and saw a star with a tail). Then we looked at her through binoculars (the same one). I was 10. Thank you. Your content is very interesting and informative
