Dogs are the best therapy for broken hearts, and suffering souls. I am 77 yrs old. All my life I have been lucky to have dogs with me. I know this darling little girl is now very lucky to have a dog with her. Thanks to her wonderful father. The lovely doggie will be the most loving and faithful friend she can have. The gentle dog will be by her side day and night. There is another therapy which is great for broken hearts it is the wonderful wild nature. Either on the sea, sailing to new horizons and seeing sunsets or rainbows. or in the mountain in spring. Long walks in the silent beauty of the amazing surroundings will do wonders for her. Enjoying the simple life in natural surroundings with her beloved family and in the company of the doggie, that’s what I wish for her with all my heart . 💕🙏👨‍👧🦮🌻✈️⛵️🏖️⛰️⛷️🌍🌲🌴

I think the emotional abuse they all went through is the worst of all and the hardest, because it's internal and harder to heal. Anxiety and panic attacks are no fun especially after what she's been through. Giving me space, taking time, holding my hand verses pressuring me helped calm me down and feel safe. Listening to sounds of a babbling stream and saying the 23rd Psalm helped. Oh dear Y-. I am so happy to see Emily talking normally again and laughing, playing with her dogs and even going to her safe place in the living room.
