on both the i5s the gpus are working a tad bit harder, is there an explanation, like is it the motherboard or is it just that theres something going on thats pushing the gpus a % or 2 a harder in the intel based systems( ik in crysis it was working harder with amd but im just wondering why it was working harder with the same specs).

Not sure if you are still curious about this answer but it is because the framerate is dependent on CPU + GPU and the more fps, the harder the CPU is working but there's also a max framerate a CPU can output depending on how good it is. The GPU is working harder because the CPU is better and can output more frames.

GPU is able to work harder when the CPU is powerful enough to feed it more frames. Lower GPU utilisation usually means the CPU is bottlenecking it. Maxed out GPU utilisation usually means it is bottlenecking the CPU.

Sadly this is no longer the truth. Fornite and other games have been updated since and easily use 100% of the i3 12100f in ultra. Causing major frame drops constantly. With the new season 5 update, fort no longer runs as well. I get around same usage "80%" on low everything in performance mode. Causing major problems on anything higher.

The gpu isnt maxed out meaning it pushes ultra settings cpu demand.

GPU not maxing out could be caused by an optimization problem with the game code/engine or the video driver There's plenty of games that will not pump out more fps while only using xx% of GPU and yy% of CPU For example: Star Citizen used to offer 35fps on 2080 Ti @40% with 11700K @35% and there was no way to utilize more. So the mere fact that the GPU isn't maxed out does not guarantee it's maximally pushing CPU. The fps might just remain the exact same on lower graphic detail settings. I would agree though, that the benchmarker should make sure this is indeed the case.

@@SuspiriaX If the gpu settings are set to the lowest/ lowest res then it will demonstate the maximum cpu fps. If under such an example of the gpu still bottlenecking then either you have a god awful gpu or the game is broken. My comment was in reference to this video inwhich the games tested are fairly polished. You're arguing semantics that aren't at play in this example. You even agreed with my original statement at the end.

@@MakeSh00t but don’t forget 4 core gaming sucks and there will be stutters I would recommend a 6 or 8 core cpu like the 12600k or 12400 but if u wanna save money and your not gunna play competitive go for the 12100

@@MakeSh00t 800 dollars for cpu, motherboard and ram kit? that's wrong bro, you can just use a H670m ddr4 version and use ddr4 ram, decent b660m ddr4 is 140usd avg and 4x8 gb 3200mhz ram is avg 170 dollars, i3 12100f is 106usd on best buy, so ur only paying 416 average with stock cooler ddr5 is not better for i3/i5 it's meant for something better like i7/i9 Idk where u live that 5600x + mb + ram is only cheap u r so lucky, in us 5600x is 289 usd on best buy, good b550m motherboard is 120usd, and 4x8 gb 3200mhz ram is 170usd so total is 579usd with stock cooler but yeah for u 5600x complete set is only 500usd for u so I understand getting 5600x is way better for you, so lucky it's at good price wherever u live.. 😅 happy gaming to u! ✌️

@DatDuck mobo on Amazon cost between 100-250 and for ram I won’t go for over kill I would stay on ddr4 3600 but idk because different countries have different prices
