There are elements or black metal, deathcore, death metal, grind, slam, etc. AI has so much respect from me. The song writing is complex yet it still has structure and is memorable. Dickie’s vocals just keep getting more filthy. I adore the new vocal techniques you’re trying. They add so much depth to the music! Eddie’s guitar/bass playing is insane as always. However, I hear new styles and melodies that add a cool new layer to the music. And holy fuck, AARON, my boi, that drumming! So fast (as expected) but I hear new patterns and intricate fills. (Sorry I don’t know much about drum playing) And the production, oh the production. I couldn’t be happier with the mix. Nothing stands out as “oh, could use more blank or less blank.” Everything is perfect. I expect nothing less from this behemoth of a band. INFANT ANNIHILATOR FOREVER.
