I grew up with Sir Cliff and the Shads as my parents were big fans. Unlike other figures like Jimmy Savile he has never struck me as someone who would hurt or abuse anyone. When he went through that whole BBC thing he looked so visibly upset it was upsetting to me. Respect to Sir Cliff.

Elvis will always be top of Rock/Roll in USA- but Sir Cliff in my eyes u are recognised as the English Gentleman/Legend - u are tops in England/worldwide and ur fans love u- ur accolades/interviews originate/ recognised u as their Pop/Rock entertainer in England of course due to ur hard work and tenacity! @@MissJensk1 the pitch and intonations. Paul has lost his Liverpool accent a bit. He still sounds “Northern English” to me, but the Scouse inflections aren’t as pronounced.
