Early illustrations were from Ian Livingston’s ‘Deathtrap Dungeon’ which was in Fighting fantasy / choose ya own adventure book series. Forest of Doom was book just before that one. He took over from richard corben did the cover art too. As a kid reading them it was like his drawings were leaping out from page full of life.

I love these 10 minutes with videos, it's never 10 minutes because the art is so awesome, I ordered a copy of this book within two minutes. I recently got hold of a copy of SteamPunk 'Manimatron', I read a couple of issues back in the day but it's nice to have a collection, great work dude

oh nice. Thank you and enjoy that. And yeah for this video I'd opened about 100 files which is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too much for a 10 minute video so I stopped short even though it was tempting to keep going! haha

He is one of the most inspirational guys ever. I just need to see a 2 minute video of him and could jump across the room because he's getting me so damn excited every single time!

That dwarf book you’re talking about may be Kingdom of the Dwarves. Illustrated by David Wenzel. That book has some amazing fantasy artwork.

hey cool thank you. I still have that book here in my storage. It really had an impact on me as a kid and that goes back to when I was around 6-9 years old I remember it/

I am. Finally. the last 2 weeks was really a pain in the ass. I didn't want to bitch too much in the video but I was determined to fix my computer and it was NOT easy. But mission accomplished so onward and upward! lol

Some of his designs reminds me of Moebius' designs for the movie Willow.

I love the artist input from the cat. I totally felt that deeply intellectual input just based on the tone. We don't have to understand cats in order to understand cats.

Great video, Rich! I've wanted "Shadowline" for years now. I didn't know it had been re-released, so thank you for that! You've been costing me a lot of money for the past several months, hahahaha.
