For those of us who are still getting the hang of it and can barely keep up for 10 seconds or less on a wave, to see you riding these insane long runs, speeding up like madman and getting tubed in the process. Holy smokes!!!That must be amazing to experience.Thanks for sharing man.

i started boogie lately and the thing is how u guys go so deep without being scared ,you know for me right after my legs doesn't touch the sand i freak out and i panic ,cuz the sea will take me and never let me out. so how u pass out that fear and u get sure you'll get out whatever and whenever
@joeskienz4 ай бұрын
I hate that feeling too. I highly recommend you surf with friends or a crowd so that you don't feel alone and if something happens you can get help. That will develop your confidence more and more with each session. Start out in smaller waves then gradually progress to going out in bigger waves. Like Dory says "just keep swimming"!
@llinnkk4 ай бұрын
@@joeskienz yea that's also a thing i do but I'm just asking for those who are doing it alone ,how they do it? But at all thank u mate
@Pointlightvfx4 ай бұрын
I often surf alone, and I understand what the mean as I felt the same when I started. The one thing you have to understand is that rip currents only pull you out just past the breaking waves. There are no types of currents that can pull you far out to sea. So, if you if you get out to the back of the lineup you are SAFE. In close there are rip currents, you have to constantly dive waves so you are tired, and it is shallower. Overall, I would not stress that much as you will get more comfortable going out the more experience you have :)
@llinnkk4 ай бұрын
@@Pointlightvfx thank u pal for those information I'll keep them in mind and I'll stay cautious of rip currents ;)
@iaincampbell_4 ай бұрын
You’ve got to just get comfortable in the water, being out there and knowing that you’re going to be alright. You can’t panic and just need to stay calm as much as you can… it takes time but it’s all part of the experience 🙌🏼

A bit skunked it seems...unlucky. I rate those dk barrels tho. Must be a POV first at skeleton?
@iaincampbell_4 ай бұрын
I think it may be a POV first but I'm not the first to try out there. Sacha Specker was doing that before I was on the world tour even. A bit skunked for sure. The banks have changed alot and definetly not what they used to be...
@faabmeijndert65194 ай бұрын
how long dus it take to hold you breath underwater in skeleton bay?
@iaincampbell_4 ай бұрын
Depends what the wave wants to do. Sometimes it’s quick, sometimes it’s 7 seconds. I didn’t have too many crazy ones but it’s pretty intense.

@@iaincampbell_ hope that the currents change and the sand banks gets better but yeah sand point breaks without rocks tend to disappear eventually the old skeleton was a miracle.
