That feeling of beating the sun to the break and its pumping. Senses pushed to there thresholds. Super intense.

That looks sick man nice! I went for surfing lesson at Muizenberg Saturday and took the boogie with yesterday. But the waves are meh? Not sure if you have been but its like 7 waves always ontop of each other. I stood up on the board on my second try and 4th wave I stood up I did a semi turn xD On the boogie though, I love the speed I got on the boogie though! Was so much fun and your tutorial videos are AWESOME!!!! It worked, Arm 90 degrees, lift the rail up and I turned so nicely xD Even though it was a closeout I managed to turn right into the white water haha. THanx a lot for the videos and keep ripping bro. P.S - its much harder than I thought :D

@@danielmeijer4831 sweet man, was I doing something wrong or were those waves very weak?🤙
@andreasiwak26512 жыл бұрын
Was also there on Saturday and the conditions were just okay, Muizenberg's waves are hardly ever solid (known to some as Mushies for good reason). There's little power behind the waves and hardly any clean lines most days unless there's a nice offshore. Great place to learn when you're catching white water waves or long boarding because its gentle and you'll be surrounded by other beginners, but if you want a bit more power Strand is a better option. Swell is picking up a bit in Blouberg as well recently.
@johannconradie50342 жыл бұрын
@@andreasiwak2651 aah yeah that's exactly what I noticed. Also I know I'm still learning the popup and stuff, but I'm trying it different than what they taught me in the lesson where as they had me use my toes on the board. But that will be bad for when I progress to a shorter board cuz of muscle memory I think. I didn't know I should be trying to catch the white water waves haha, sat there Monday in the water and caught like 3 waves in 2 hours haha. Also when you catch a white water wave all the power is already gone. I was able to stand for 3-5 seconds most of the time then the board just sank >.

que ola! You dont need to get up early to score that wave normally tho =) seems to pump 365 days a year! Would love to get back there.

Yeah but when you have some of the best riders in the world wanting to get in it then you need to get there early!
