Jenny's Tale and Screech's tale are standalone stories. Sometime later, Ren felt the pair of stories were incomplete and felt the need to tie the two stories together using Violet's tale. Them being twins was Ren's artistic choice and not based on the original story which served as the basis for Jenny&Screech

I saw you post Violet's Tale and check and didn't see Jenny and Screech so I skipped but glad to see you back to do them together. You can't mess with the trilogies...lol.

Glad you guys liked it Rens band “the big push - I shit the sheriff” is another layer to this guys musical talent. Genesis is a great rap song if you wanna go back to that stuff But yeah “immortal technique - dance with the devil” is a MUST REACT. Ren kinda references it when he’s in a abandoned building saying “the devils comes to dance”

Violets Tale was written over 2 years later adding another layer of commentary by Ren. In my humble opinion Ren wanted us to consider not only generational violence but also make us look at all angles of society that we usually turn a blind eye to. Both characters are born out of violence on that cruel night of Violets beating and then both killed with brutal violence on the same night at the age of 14. Also, his lyrics have even more meaning when you read in between the lines. For example, he doesn't say what Jenny was doing or why she wanted to escape from this place & life, or why Screech thought she was older saying at Patrick's door "I left this lady lying on the floor". Could that be because the way she's dressed & the heavy makeup she had on? Also why was a 14yr old girl out so late in the dead of night walking alone in a sketchy part of town with high heeled shoes on, walking down a street "she's walked it a thousand times before"? Everything points to Jenny being an underage prostitute, showing us what Ren writes has reason & is written in a way to make us think. There's no fat on the bone, every word is weighed & has meaning. Interesting how Jenny has the same traits as her mother Violet, quiet, voiceless, and timid. Whereas Screech mirrors his father Stevie (the Prick boyfriend) in every way, Loud, obnoxious, and easily provoked to violence. They didn't know one another and had never met their biological parents. What made these kids so much like their parents? Was it simply Nature, inherited traits due to their genetic make-up OR Nurture, being brought up in the broken governmental system filled with, mistreated & in many cases, abused children, shuffled from one foster home to another ? He organically takes us on this journey, leaving us to think shouldn't we be doing better in this so called "advanced, wealthy, 1st world society. I'm loving your reactions. Cheers 🥂.

Immortal technique dance with the devil is probably the most unbelievable rap/story telling ever. Chef is right! Will leave another comment when I finish the pod

The trilogy isn't a true story. Jenny's Tale was loosely based on a article where a 14 year old boy killed a prostitute. That is the extent of it.

@@GradingScaleReacts well like I said, it'd be interesting if you did check them out at some point considering they are black country artists even though these particular ones run the lines of pop/hip-hop rather than honky tonk

I agree on the last beardyman beat. He has tested harry with drum and bass already and harry passed. He does Hmack no justice by trying to challenge him. He can do it, but we want bars! Let him work his magic. All double time beat doesn't give him room to scroll!

Beardyman be doing too much sometimes. Shouldn't be experimenting with these crazy beats with H Mack on the mic. Put on something dope or classic and let him cook.
