It's a song that has been popular in Hawaii and around the world when it came out 12 years ago. You can check out the original MV, Cool Down which was sung by a Hawaiian Group Kolohe Kai. When you mention the Hawaiian flavor and style, there was a time in Hawaiian music history where Hawaiian music blended with Jamaican beats to create quite a bit of songs which they called it Jawaiian.
