Beautiful Song! First time hearing BLACKPINK "The Happiest Girl" (REACTION!)

I wasnt expecting this from the girls....it's seriously one of the better ballads Ive ever heard. I think it's wild that on an 8 song album I think had 6-7 of them been released as singles they would have been massive hits. The piano on this song and the buildup at the end is so good at getting emotion going, Rose and Jisoo can put so much emotion in their voices. All 4 girls killed it.

Love your reactions! This song is not what you typically think of for Blackpink, because their videos are usually hard bangers with lot of attitude and pop. This one really hits you in the heart. I love how it shows off the vocals of all the girls. If you want an up to date background on all the girls of Blackpink, you should do a reaction to The Ultimate Guide to Blackpink 2022. There were some exclusively English songs in their last album, but the bravery is=t takes to release a predominately English song did not decrease their sales, nor their popularity in Korea. Can I recommend to you "Blackpink: Journey and Friendship". I, personally, think it is one of the best fan made documentary showing the formation of the group, why they are so cohesive as individuals and their special relationship to their fans that make them especially beloved.

The song is a cry for help. They aren't and will not be the happiest girls. It's a front that they'll put to hide their true pain, especially when they talk about drinking and smoking. We all know a person is hurting bad when they turn to control substances or try so hard to hide their pain.
