In my stoner days, whenever I'd be smoking with someone, I'd always play this song. 10/10 times the person would pause, jaw dropped, and demand to know what song this was when the drop hit. Still an all-time fav.

I remember arriving late to a festival in 2013 my buddies had talked me into and iamamiwhoami was the first artist we saw on stage on that evening and I remember thinking "what the hell did I get myself into???" Will never forget that weekend.

Agreed. The songs are great but the videos and music together are just so interesting and engaging. The Iamamiwhoami team literally created a world for this character, each song and album expanded the journey with loose narrative drivers leaving much of the story up to the viewer. And all of this is framed by such excellent cinematography, lighting and panoramic views. In my opinion, no other group has pulled this off as well as Yonah and team did with KIN and BOUNTY.

I love the moment when she becomes conscious in the fact that she has allowed herself to meld into the mindset of her captures. She's even dancing with them, trying on their fur and she has become lost and then she becomes terrified at what she has allowed herself to do.

This song is absolutely epic. The "dance now" idea, and how we are captured by simulating others (dressing like them), then showing up and dancing only to realise eventually that we are surrounded my monsters. "Like a puppet now, I cannot move to my own beat." And then "And to your rhythm I will shout. My love for play." We are all too willing to give ourselves up at times...
@50zezima6 жыл бұрын
I thought she was talking about a relationship she feels like the love is playing with her like a puppet, but she likes it so she let's it happen or something.

the music paired with the visual effects is just perfection! I've been listening to their music for many years now and iamamiwhoami's stuff is the only kind of music that makes me feel in that special way. I caught myself dancing to their songs like crazy with closed eyes, like I was in another world, but was also crying because of the beauty of their art. I never had those kind of feelings before, it's kind of like a mixture between love, happines compared with sadness, darkness, a mature and artistic sexiness, craziness and a cold or warm feeling caused the temperature of the nature shown in the vids. I never took drugs, but I imagine it could feel like this. My friends don't like them at all unfortunately haha. now typing that comment I think i sound like a weirdo, but that's ok, I just want everybody to know how fantastic iamamiwhoami is

There are not enough words to describe the feelings that this song gives me. There is no limit. It's like I'm everything. +gerardo iglesias RIGHT OMG !!? +Too poo No but most of the time, people smoke to relax or at least release the stress by dancing, singing, working out or doing whatever, and this song is perfect to groove you out when you smoke weed, its good vibes makes that you can't help but dance the hell out of your soul and feel overwhelmed by the love coming out of this majestic beat !
