CHILLS. Like actual GooseBumps listening to this. 🪿😮⚡️ I am in absolutely awe at how this seems to transcend any era; maybe it’s from the kin era, because kin is featured in the lyrics and it has that genre shifting quality of that album, and also has the line “dripping on a wooden floor” which might be a direct reference to the opening scene of ‘sever’ ⬛️ but maybe it’s from the Blund/Close Your Eyes era because of the themes of slumber and dreaming💭 or maybe the BLUE era- that spoken word section in this which pierces through my soul and resonates, is maybe similar to the spoken word section in FOUNTAIN⛲️ I don’t know how you do it, but this feels so cinematic, like it plays at the end of a movie. 🎥 🎬📼 Specifically a horror/fantasy/thriller, with a somewhat resolved ending. Not a ‘happy’ ending, but definitely over a shot of walking into the sunset, broken and bloodied, but alive…❤️‍🩹❤️‍🔥🩸
