I used to play this one a lot on the local ITG2 cab back in 2006. Funny thing about this song, we always felt like the streams in the first half of the song were harder because they were slower. Like just slow enough that you weren't quite getting into sprinting pace, and had to use more energy to keep yourself slow. Then, in the second half, when it opened up & got fast, you could go at full speed, and it felt easy. Lol. More to do with energy conservation than step difficulty.
