That CJ in the junk yard you were ripping gears in looked like it had a really nice original nutmeg passenger seat. Those are worth some money, so you might want to snag that and resell. Would be a quick eBay or FB Marketplace sale for ya

Exactly what I was thinking. They could easily hire one or two people to literally go strip decent parts of the cars all day and the return would easily pay their wages and makes them money. It could even allow for more space on the lot for new junkers.
