It's only a fan video done with the film function on an ordinary photo camera. Andre's DVDs have the benefit of the best camera and audio technology there is. Trust me -- it was amazing in person! :)

I have absolutely no doubts about the quality of the band and certainly Mirusia's voice; and in person they may very well have been the best in the world. Unfortunately, that is not what was presented here, and we, the viewers, have no choice but to make decisions on what is presented to us. Maybe you were premature?

I think you are being unfair here. This is an amateur filming this on probably a very poor quality camera etc so how could have a professional presentation?. I have seen this song being sung live by Mirusia with just a piano and it was spellbinding.

Hi Graeme! It's a great song, isn't it? Mirusia is doing a concert in Sydney on 29 November, if that takes your fancy. :-)

I'll take Rieu's band any day over this...along with the full sound, impeccable acoustics and superior musicians. In the end, it might not even sound like it was recorded in the bathroom. In the end, this might even be a fine piece of music.

What you say is true but sometimes the noise from the overproduced music was so deafening you could hardly hear the singers. That has always been my complaint.

It's interesting to see Mirusia away from the overproduced environment of Rieu's shows. We can get a better idea of just how lovely her voice is. mcp

I totally agree with your thoughts. I love Andre but his orchestra is so loud some times it is hard to hear the artist singing. I have seen Mirusia live in concert now five times (including last Sunday 8th May) and she is superb with a small orchestra etc. A one in a generation singer.
