I would ask those who come here to argue their faith, that you respect those of us who come here for peace to say Kaddish to the loved ones we have lost. After all, Ofra sang Kaddish for everyone. Let the confrontational voices be still here and for there to be respect to Ofra and those we have lost

The first time I ever heard this song, I cried my eyes out. I am crying right now. It is incredibly soulful and heartfelt, angelic, from the heart. Ofra was and always will be the greatest. She is so beautiful inside and out. Her husband was an evil man; it’s so tragic that Ofra fell for him and married him. He killed her. Rest in peace, beautiful Ofra. Kaddish for Ofra. Kaddish for my father.

Maria, Kaddish is a prayer Jewish people say in memory of those that have passed away. I am sure that the beautiful and talented Israeli Ofra Chaza will never be forgotten and so we should always remember her, Her family came from Yemen and although living in Israel she had a big fan following in both countries. What a beautiful interpretation . To Ofra Kaddish,

@@nwfamspijn-amen2448 This isn't "messianic" music - This is *Jewish* music. You can't get label yourself a "gentile." Gentiles are righteous non-Jews, and *we* call someone a "gentile" as a compliment. You can't call yourself a compliment that can only be given from Jew to non-Jew. In case you forgot, we're less than 0.2% of the world's population, thus, what reason is there for us to use any Yiddish word to differentiate between Jews & non-Jews, today? If you'd like, you can be a Shegetz. Totally up to you. By proselytizing on such a sacred Jewish video dedicated to the victims, sung by a beloved singer whose deceased, I'd say it describes you well. EDIT: Also, it's disrespectful to project your religious doctrine onto Jews. We don't believe in the afterlife. People don't go to heaven, heaven is where God lives. God is not a man, no one can meet their maker. Judaism believes in reincarnation, but we're free to believe in whatever feels right and true to us. There is no Messiah. Next time, don't proselytize under Jewish or Muslim videos. It's a desecration.

"When mention is made of "saying Kaddish", this unambiguously refers to the rituals of mourning. Mourners say Kaddish to show that despite the loss they still praise God. " In light of that..it's quite funny you are saying Kaddish for freedom and tolerance.

My world before entering the synagogue was filled with hate, violence, retribution, and every manner of wickedness. There was scant beauty to be found - but with my first Shabbat service, I found the beginnings of peace, solace, and the stirrings of my lost soul having finally coming home. This song, among other Jewish spirituals, penetrates deep to the core of my heart and soul - and my spirit soars.

TODAH RABAH! It pleases me to hear through others that my work in the service of HaShem is inspirational. Whenever I do a mitzvah, I draw closer to the divine. It seems a great cosmic irony that I once loathed, mocked, and despised the Children of Israel - only to later embrace them as my beloved family. You too are my brother - and we are united in heritage, culture, faith, under the covenant of Moses. May we meet someday.

I have been listening to Ofra and especially Kaddish in the car when travelling back home from work in Rush hour traffic and what a calming effect it has on me. I think my stress level has dropped a lot, listening to Kaddish sung by Ofra makes the journey seem to fly by...

Dearest Ofra have not forgotten you. Am so happy that able to enjoy your angel-quasi voice and figure and mourn along with you all the world's shoa victims May HaShem let your voice resound down through the ages esp. this Hannukah Fall Supper at Gwen Secter Creative Living Centre am unable to attend here a musician from Montreal while the Hannukah candles are being lit will play flute and saxophone perhaps and people will get together and in Community of Canada will celebrate the freedom of living under the charter of rights and freedoms of the Canada Constitution by marking what freedoms page of preamble clause of "whereas Canada is founded on principles recognizing supremacy of HaShem and the rule of law.Amen

I am totally convinced that if angels really existed, they would sing just like Ofra does, now an angel too herself...

Love and Peace for all beings in our world and lots of kaddish! Most beautiful soul ever been on this earth Ofra Haza! Be with God and the angels! I can't hear this song without crying! Kaddish teaches all people in the world that we are one, whatever Religion we've got! May peace prevail!

How do I love thee? Let me count the ways. I love thee to the depth and breadth and height. My soul can reach, when feeling out of sight For the ends of being and ideal grace. I love thee to the level of every day's, Most quiet need, by sun and candle-light. I love thee freely, as men strive for right. I love thee purely, as they turn from praise. I love thee with the passion put to use, In my old griefs, and with my childhood's faith. I love thee with a love I seemed to lose, With my lost saints. I love thee with the breath, Smiles, tears, of all my life; and, if God choose, I shall but love thee better after death.
