people keep bringing up the fact that italians and irish weren't considered white. but i think the far more relevant argument is the fact that the "one drop rule" is one of the main reasons for statistical democratic shift. if someone has 1 black grandparent and 3 white ones, they are statistically considered black. of course, if you always count mixed people as "non-white", the actual genetic representation of "white people" will be massively underrepresented in statistics. most african americans have some white ancestry (often through rape of slaves, but often also from times after slavery). by far most "latinos" have strong "white" ancestry, too. so, if we would count them as "partially white", the statistics would look VERY different. yes, a modern society mixes more, because luckily a lot of us don't chose their partners based on racist ideas anymore. so there are much more mixed people than ever before. so? it's fucking awesome.

Well, kind of. Most of the American Indian population in North America was wiped out by disease prior to any long term European settlement let alone conquest. This massive plague is sadly rarely talked about due to us having no record of it, but suffice to say some native populations had as much as 90% of people wiped out. So when the Europeans did decide to colonize much of the natives civilizations were pretty much on the brink of collapse and barely holding themselves together and much more land was empty then would have been otherwise. All in all, the situations aren’t exactly comperable.

Fun fact: while in the US Italian migration was oftenly perceived as a pollution of inferiors (some even classifying them "non-whites"), in Argentina, Brazil and most of Latin America Italian immigrants were not just welcomed (except for some purists) but invited to migrate, since, according to the Latin American hyperdescent logic of miscegenation, they'd "improve the race". This is how nebulous the concept of "pure whiteness" is: for Latin America it was all Europeans, for Anglo-America it was only a certain kind of Europeans.

My Mom was a child in Brooklyn NY during the 1950's. She grew up in a Irish Catholic family. Her Aunt fell in love with a man from a Italian Catholic family that lived a couple of blocks away. At that time a marriage between a Irish kid and a Italian kid was considered a bad thing. Mixing I guess. After they got married they were not welcome in the Irish neighborhood or the Italian neighborhood. They ended up moving to Florida to start their family. In 2022 we would think that's nuts. I hope that what we are talking about today loses traction is considered old fashioned and weird in a generation or two. (Hopefully sooner than that!)

@@iammrbeat I'm glad that you caught that. My mother also told me that they had two Catholic churches that were close to each other. One for Irish families and the other was for Italian families. My mother was discouraged from visiting the Italian church. I do not understand the argument that all change is bad and everything was better in the past. The evidence tells a different story IMO.

Oddly I don’t think religion mixing will ever be 100% okay with a lot of families. In the 40’s they even the 80’s there were grumblings. I had when I got married in the early 80’s. It’s hopefully changed, but sometimes people need to let other people just be happy.

The first time I heard about the WEF (couple/few years ago) I went on their website and clearly remember reading about their plan for “open borders” and “mass migration to blend poor countries with rich countries”. You could be right , but isn't it true that in January 2024, the WEF stated that migration "could be a model for sustainable development, and that countries will need to rely on migration as populations age and birth rates decline." If the birth rates are dropping so dramatically, (since well we can't be forced to have children, how else would you solve the problem?) In 2023, the total fertility rate in the United States fell to 1.62 births per woman, the lowest rate since the government began tracking it in the 1930s. The fertility rate in Africa is gradually declining, but it remains the highest in the world. In 2024, the average number of children per woman in Africa was 4.1, down from 5.24 in 2000. By 2030, the fertility rate is projected to drop to around 3.8 children per woman. The gap between sub-Saharan Africa and other regions is closing, and the region's fertility rate is expected to drop below 2.1 by 2075 and 1.82 by the end of the century. This is due to a number of factors... Russia's fertility rate has been dropping in recent years: In 2022, Russia's total fertility rate was 1.42 children per woman, which is 6.67% lower than the previous year and the lowest on record. This is below the 2.1 children per woman needed to maintain Russia's population.

Remember in Canada they raise our taxes so we can pay for all the immigrant's health care and housing for the first 5 years they are here. Most young people can not afford an average house in Canada which in some places here is a million dollars!!! If they want people to have kids in Canada send back 10 million immigrants so the pay of laborer's goes up and all pay goes up and housing demand decreases and infrastructure costs go down because roads last longer when you do not have millions of cars going across them and you can get a doctor and good health care and be able to afford food to feed that family. This video seem to tackle the more extreme and conspiratorial versions of this, but as a European, coming from a Swedish city that used to be ~95% sweds some 40 years ago (most of these 5% from neighbouring countries), and today have nearly 50% foreign born (mostly from mideast, Afghanistan and Somalia), the change is very much noticable, and its difficult to not admit these ideas come from an actual and real problem at its core. To say 'the values are already similar, thats why they come here' is a common talking point in Sweden too; but theres little reason to believe this at all true, at least here, and a lot indicating it usually isnt. The very secular and freespirited cultural style of Sweds, and the very religious, conservative and family controlled cultural style of these regions doesnt always go hand-in-hand, and motivation for picking our country specifically tend to be due to economic safety, not values. The cultural values of sweds are usually viewed as something weird and foreign; a strange enigma you're curious of but knows little about, or something already concluded to be immoral that you ought to avoid being tainted of. In difference to the US, there is no tradition of multiculturalism here, but rather of a strong monoculture. We were a single people, with a single party (in power), with a single TV-channel, for a really, really long time. As more migrants enter a neighbourhood, Sweds tend to leave it to live locally in the monoculture they are used to; and migrants tend to pick neighbourhoods where they know someone from their home country. As a result, segregation is intensified and integration or assimilation becomes very weak, and plenty of neighbourhoods and schools in my city has no ethnic sweds at all anymore. At most, they are integrated though children of past migrants (who themselves have few or no Sweds in their social circles). To contemplate the "replacement theory", you only need to ask yourself; 'what if this trend continues, for another 40 years...?' The talking point of 'whites are being exploited' goes back to the motivation of picking a country like Sweden; economic safety. We have a massive wellfare state, and very welcoming rules. When a group who didnt contribute to the wellfare system, then have really low employment numbers and live off it; its hard to not say that there is no exploitation in that. The average for a migrant from these regions is 8 years, until they had their FIRST job... That's a lot of years on wellfare. More than most Sweds have in their lifetimes... To put it simply; if the demographic trends of my city were to be extrapolated to the whole country, maintaining a wellfare state of the standard we´re accustumed to, would be utterly impossible. It only works now due to a system of local government wealth transfer; if not we would sit on a near 30% citybudget deficit. (City in question is Malmö, third largest city in Sweden.) One can and should avoid the harsh and racialized terminology of "white exploitation/replacement" and the likes of it, while still recognizing that there are real and difficult problems at the core of this, which cant just be sumarized as some fake populist conspiracy theory. Below that conspiratorial surface, real problems are festering and growing; and the unfortunate fact is that high migration is exacerbating those problems.

Here in Europe, we haven't had the same multiculturalism as the US has, except for the last few decades, and we haven't taken in other white people, but people from other continents with vastly different cultures, languages and religions, often directly contradictory to our values. The problem with this is that our once homogeneous and stable population, that shared the same culture and languages within the borders, are now going from stable, peaceful and harmonious societies (in peace time), to more crime, distrust, economic problems and conflicts. Experimenting with demographics in the way our politicians have been doing in the last 60 years or so has been a disaster, and will end in disaster.

I think that the '1 drop' theory also plays a role in this. I don't subscribe to the racist implications of GRT and believe in treating everyone equally and fairly, but a couple of points of contention: 1. If you have immigration to the West but not vice versa, there's going to be replacement. That's just being factual, especially with lower western birthrates. If China, India, the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America are allowed to stay relatively static with no inbound migration, but the West is the only region that needs to become more diverse, there will be replacement. 2. Progressives talk enthusiastically about replacement all the time. "Demographics is destiny" they say. It's no accident they have more immigrant friendly policies, they want to accelerate a changing demographic. 3. Western societies have implemented more social services and entitlements than in the past, meaning that immigration will become a more contentious issue because it's no longer just a matter of someone new moving here. Controlling who is a member of the 'club' also controls who is entitled to what financial benefits. 4. At a time when all demographics should have lower birthrates to fight resource scarcity, climate change, and environmental collapse, different groups will cynically use higher birthrates and population as a weapon against those who are responsibly trying to lower their footprint. 5. We have always been apprehensive of newcomers, but it is truly worrying when those new comers don't share your values. France didn't used to have to worry about professors being beheaded for free speech. Now they do. If you wouldn't let in a stranger into your home, why would you let in a group of people that wishes to strip your rights away? 6. Diversity as a strength is incidental. Japan and China have strong societies with less diversity. Diversity can be a weakness. Yeah, only one glance at a science book or a genetics course will indicate that genetic and behavioral traits are attributed to heredity. OF COURSE we all understand that cognitive ability shouldn’t be the sole factor in judging a person’s character.. but being correct 8.5 times out of ten is a much better starting point than a blind stumble. There is a reason why there is over representation of a particular nature (race, ethnicity, religion) in every place that it manifests (occupation, athletics, education, criminal justice system). This is outlined well in the book The Bell Curve which is often trashed but never challenged with data (to my knowledge). This analysis is just straight up untrue. Race absolutely is a biological reality, and there are measurable differences in the aggregate behavior of different races, you can also just use your eyes and stop lying to yourself. That's not to say that everyone shouldn't be treated fairly and with respect, but we need to keep these differences in mind when thinking about the challenges and conflict that may arise when different races co-habitate. There's a thing called divergent human evolution, in which different groups have migrated to different parts of the world. As they do this they're subject to different evolutionary pressures, and I really don't know what to tell you if you think that those pressures are simply aesthetic and only create superficial differences. To evidence this I could cite that IQ isn't distributed equally throughout the world amongst the different races, different behavioral tendencies, and therefore cultural differences, manifest based on that alone. I'll also cite studies on the heritability of political views, in which whites are typically more in favor of liberal social policy, and hispanics and blacks are typically more authoritarian on those metrics, and it doesn't change, several generations later you'll still see this preference passed down in aggregate. You also can't deny that whites are also in an extreme demographic decline, our birthrates are low, and we're importing millions of non-white people every year. This is exacerbated by the fact that European genetics are typically recessive, and mixed children inheret more traits from the non-white parent. Hispanics alone have swelled to 30% of the population in 15 years. This IS absolutely going to change the makeup, culture, and values of the American and European nations. Unless of course you believe that race is genuinely only skin color (it isn't) and that different populations exposed to vastly different evolutionary selection pressures only manifest as slight changes in appearance (as if evolution only occurs from the neck down), maybe you can call the great replacement just a 'theory'. Otherwise, I completely hope you're right and that I have nothing to worry about, but I can almost assure you that me and other white people absolutely do.

Indeed people in African nations might have a different distribution of IQ, but that has nothing to do with race, race is just what pigments are in your skin, the reason for the change in the distribution of IQ is because of the regions. For instance if an irradiated area like chokecherry had a community they would start developing many diseases that most other communities wouldn't, but they may also be white. Since people usually tend to stay in communities/countries of their origin then the gene pool will have some similar genes, like race, but these genes can in multiple gene pools and gene pools mix. Basically race doesn't affect IQ for the most part, except that people of the same race often mate with each other more often, which is why there is a trend with specific races having specific genetics, which is compounded by culture often being different between different racial groups. Things are much more complex then black have this genetic makeup, and whites have this, classifying groups of people based on race isn't a good basis, as there are multiple cultures and gene pools within race groups. Race can be used as a metric somewhat, as stated above, but there are better categories to use. For most diverse cultures this isn't as apparent, there will be some cultural coagulation but genetics will even out as different ethnicity and cultures start inter mating. Also I have no idea what I said I just rambled, like half of what I said is wrong and I'm bored, I really want to debate.

If I had seen this 5 or 6 years ago, I would've felt the same way. I didn't realize how much of the country is totally fucked. I mean, I knew it, but it was an existential knowledge, a knowledge that the status quo sucks, but real people in my day to day life were different. It was a rude awakening. This is not a skin issue, its a cultural issue, even though this movement i guess has some white supremacists, most, around 90% of people that cares about people from other cultures coming to our countries is the cultural shift that comes with it. My cousin was a teacher of a small town of mostly people of the background of the very same nation she was born into, so mostly all europeans=european culture mostly. some months ago she moved a few kilometers away, to another town were there had been a lot of inmigration from muslim countries in the last 20 years. She is having a really bad time, she told me that half the school are teenagers of this inmigrant background (although they were born here) and its extremely extremely difficult to discipline them and getting to teach because they, their students, tell her that as she is a woman, she shouldnt be given class to them as they are men. This is happening everyday, and as the time passes by is only intensifying, i wish, really, i wish that this was not true, but now im walking around the towns and cities of my nation and think: yea, the buildings are europeans, but if all the pedestrians are africans, the street is africa. Every day i see that europe is looking more alike marocco or egypt and less as England, denmark... etc
