Sandra and I attempt to break our slump for fish catching. We headed out to a beautiful lake and paddled out for the day. We had set a challenge to ourselves and hoped things would work out. We really hope that you enjoy.

Perch...my favorite fish. Breaded is good but just pan fry in butter, salt & pepper is the best. Full flavour to the max.

I surely do agree! I love traveling by canoe, gliding over the water. In scout camp years ago we got to go in an Indian war canoe....talk about flying over the water's surface! Fantastic! Boy that water is like glass there today. So glad you got some perch!!

What a stunning place and glorious conditions. So glad you got some fish. Zoodles & canned weeners don't sound very appetising. I noticed you listed a Canon M50 in your camera gear. I just got one and I love it. I also got the Rode Go wireless mic. Still getting use to it all. Cracking video guys, looked a sensational day. A hint I was given many years ago by a great angler was to soak your lures and even fresh bait in fish sauce, I guess you can get it in Canada. Seems to work well. Thanks again for great entertainment.

Sandra, you need to paddle from the back of the canon. You never know when you are the only one paddling. Plus you would get to bark orders at Mike. I am just saying. Catch 🎣 or else... we always agreed that whoever catches the least fish has to clean & filet all the fish caught.
