To be honest, we were in a panic for several days while waiting for our doctor's appointment. Suddenly, we felt a seal on Messi's side. Despite Messi not displaying any discomfort, Sasha decided it was best to visit the doctor. Before going, Sasha managed to collect the urine sample at 2:59. The ultrasound revealed the presence of some liquid in the tissue. The doctor commented that this can occur when the animal brushes up too hard against a solid object. Fortunately, the observation didn't raise any grounds for concern, and both the blood work and urine analysis came back normal. Messi feels good and was elated to come back home. Yes he clearly understands much of what his parents say. Really he remembers key words like the name of the vet and associates it with what he remembers as happening before. When Sasha tells him he needs to be a good boy. His trust in dad it total, because Sasha has never let him down. Always explaining what is happening. Showing respect to Messi and certainly never trying to trick him, because he is so clever he would feel betrayed and not be so trusting.

This is the most behaved cat I’ve ever seen! Most normal domesticated pets either dogs or cats don’t behave this well. He is absolutely gorgeous. The way he was with strangers petting him and letting the veterinarian examine him and even draw blood without the slightest hint of agitation is incredible.

One of my Russian Blues was going to the vet along with her sister Phoenix who is also a Russian Blue and is a triplet with Ash and Smokey. Ash was screaming the entire way there and her ears turned red from her screaming. She acts like she is going to be tortured. We got a room immediately because of how she behaved and in the room they both jumped onto the counter and tried to hide in the corner. Phoenix had flexed her neck in hopes she would blend in with the wall and Ash was behind her trying to push out Phoenix. When she knew she was losing that fight she jumped onto the floor where there was a magazine rack on the floor so she tried to hide behind it. It didn’t work because her rear end was still sticking out and I said “Ash, your ass is sticking out” and she tried to scoot up and she pulled in her tail. She is very smart. When the vet came in with two meds for each one and one was a pill and the other was a shot of antibiotics neither made a peep. Not one!!!! All that for no reason! My girls are drama queens!

I personally believe that because the cat is permanently socialized with the family (lives in the home, not in cage) is why this cat is so loving and well tempered. Great family and great care. I truly believe that there is no way this cat would ever become aggressive in this situation. (it may be different with gerda) I don't believe that large wild cats should become pets but in this situation I am glad of where this cat is. Love the videos and love all of you .
