I heard a trick to beating the last Valkyrie is to put tape over the boss health bar. As you see the health bar going down it effects how you play, you lose focus on the mechanics of the fight and instead are focusing on the health bar. This effect becomes more prominent at lower health levels, the heart races, adrenaline spikes, hands shake. However if you don't know the bosses health then you fight normally from start to finish. You just keep fighting the same until the end. That is how I beat her. Well done man.

There's an option to remove the health bars on enemies in the settings. That's how I played the game and helped so much

What I’ve noticed is they attack much faster as they get to their last two squares of health so I think you’re right. Adding anxiety of looking at the health bar takes away from you needing to focus on their attacks which are coming much more frequent than before. I might have to adopt that strategy.

Impressive. You're certainly more dedicated than me. I like getting platnums for games I enjoy but have no problem lowering the difficulty if it's too hard. I figure the challenge isn't worth it if I'm not having fun. FF7 Remake was about the only hard mode run I actually completed.

I just watched this and wanted to say I 100% feel your pain about fighting Sigrun. I platinumed the game on a lower difficulty but wanted to beat her on GMGOW and it took me probably 150 tries at least. I applaud your efforts and completely related to every frustrating moment you had. Well done finishing the game on GMGOW difficulty from the beginning as that's no easy feat!

So I didnt realize this until a recent playthrough, but when Jormungandr spits back the Leviathan Axe after we threw it into the lake, there is a bit of text that says Eitr Embued. Eitr is Old Norse for poison and the poison of the World Serpent is known to kill Thor in Norse myth. Thats why we were able to kill Magni with the axe and thats why in Ragnarok when we hit Thor in the stomach with the axe, the wound doesnt heal. I cant believe I never noticed it before.

Ragnarok is actually way easier to platinum, it's like this game when you get around halfway through the game and you get some descent armor, but from the start

for the blast that you "couldn't" avoid all you had to do was dodge backwards, also allows you to counter the follow-up better. I know it doesn't matter now since you got it, but if anyone else is having the same issue i hope this helps.

First time playing this game was a while ago. I had played on Give me a God of War because I’m the worlds best gamer, and man was it exactly how you explained. Die a bunch, get pissed, die some more, rage, die a few more times, win by studying attack patterns and that’s the whole game. And man, when I finished the game, I was on the verge of tears. But I would never cry to a game or movie. As I saw the completion text for the difficulty I laughed maniacally and yelled “THIS GAME IS SO EASY!” Ragnarok was not any different.

The problem with play at the highest dificulty is that you have to master every single battle, specially boss battle. You need to know every movement of the boss, so that you can parry or evade that, because if you got hit, its hit kill. And, sometimes, its not worth it. Of course, sometimes we need some perseverence experience, and 'Give me a God of War' was perfect for that

I only played GOW 2018 and ragnarok, and I platinumed only ragnarok And now i am playing the old GOW games (ascension,1-3) for the first time And when i finish GOW 3 i will start GOW 2018 with give me GOW difficulty and get the platinum, like what you did in the video, though i already have some trophies because i played the game before, but i don’t have the collectables and valkyries trophy, so this will be tough 💀 After finishing 2018 i will just replay ragnarok with GOW difficulty Also i never played GOW with give me GOW difficulty Also loved the video

Not gonna lie, I managed to beat Sigrun on hard but just couldn't do it on Give Me. After a few hours I thought I was losing my mind so I gave up and never went back! At first it's not too bad, ypu learn her moves, get in a groove, and get stuck in. But there were a couple of things she did that I either couldn't spot fast enough or couldn't react fast enough. And it only takes a few hits and you're done. The biggest issue is you get her so close to death but she seems to just destroy you somehow, which I think is by design. I felt like a fish on a hook!

I finished the main game on "give me god of war" without dying, if I died, I had to start the game from the beginning. Also, I wasn't allowed to use rage (except 3 times when the game wants you to use rage) and resurrection stones. That took me about 40 playthroughs to finaly make it. Too bad they didn't release a real permadeath mode with trophies.

The easiest way is too use a stagger build and for the valkyries start with a charged attack, then stun them with the bow(shoot them to cancel a red attack) and realm shift
