Life is hard. Motherhood is hard. Marriage is hard. Thankful you have a loving God and loving husband to get you through the dark days. May you be blessed with all the joys life has to offer ❤️ Your words will tell other woman going through difficult times, especially postpartum depression, that they are not alone. That their feelings matter and are valid, and that brighter days are ahead. Loved seeing you and the girls come on stage with Thomas in Charleston, SC, earlier this year.

I wasn’t sure about her there for a minute. And it just would start to make you wonder, “I wonder if she’s frustrated.” This explains everything. I like her 🙏🏻 & I feel a lot of respect for her. It’s gotta be hard leading such a life full of blessings as well as demands, while her husband was off touring. What that potentially can do to a marriage, even the most patient & loving couples. He’s gotta make the money, she wanted to accomplish her dreams. I’m sure that was hard. I respect her a lot after seeing this. 🙏🏻

My first daughter was born in 94’. She has a rare genetic disorder being the only female worldwide to live with Opitz-trigonocephaly. I had a boy 4 years later and another girl 4 years after him. I felt absolutely alone in raising them. Haven has been in and out of the hospital having surgery after surgery. My marriage was truly a nightmare. He tormented, tortured and abused me in every way. After 16 years, 3 babies and 14 broken bones I left. He made up a horrendous story and had the youngest two taken from me. My depression has been paralyzing. As my kids got older they have came back to me. Haven has been in good health. I give all the glory to God! He told me to be patient and my kids would see the truth and return to me. I now have a 4 year old granddaughter. Haven is turning 30 next week. My son has found a good woman to love and help take care of his daughter. My baby girl just turned 22 and is moving to Nashville. God is great ❤

I’d say most married women can understand this. Especially when your husband is away and has a “career “ Taking care of children ALONE, will cause bitterness
@Enchantedrose345 ай бұрын
His career is what's got her everything she's ever wanted, it's not an excuse to disrespect your husband say you hate him and don't like him because he's away. She should take responsibility aswell because it does take two to have kids. she should have known what she was getting into and supported him. He is like the sweetest guy and most of his music is written about her by him anyways. It's just giving a very ungreatful vibe. This interview was awful and she should have held back on all the mean things she said to him. God wants you to keep some personal between you and your partner. Why can she praise him and say he's an amazing father?
@Enchantedrose345 ай бұрын
And if she did feel a certain way like she said even during the adoption process you need to learn to communicate with your husband better and not expect him to be a mind reader. Can you imagine if he said what she said about him and the tables were turned?

I can feel for her testimony to an extent, but the several comments about her saying she resented her husband just because he had to go out and make a living is just giving ungreatful vibes and her wanting attention. i felt several comments she should have kept private with just her and her husband. out of respect for him. I watched the whole interview and she said I just hated him and "i just didn't like him" and saying she resented him way before having more kids during the adoption process too?? Very insensitive and harsh. Also kept referring to him by his first and last name...Thomas Rhett this and that instead of just " Thomas" thought that was strange. in an interview I saw with him he said he would never want to talk bad about his wife.I just didn't get the vibe SHE was taking accountability too for her actions as a wife, it does go both ways. And he's never said negative things about her in any interview. Idk I just felt very sad for him and he seems like a super kind sweet guy. You can say God this and God that, but would God really want you to air all your dirty laundry and disrespectful comments you've made to your husband? Absolutely not. Thats embarrassing to a man. Love your music Thomas Rhett!!! And most important the person you are! God Bless 🙏🙏🙏
@jennyweston12265 ай бұрын
Rhett is his middle name, so it's not weird. But God is being glorified through her struggles and honesty. Look what He has brought her through!! And those raw feelings will resonate with SO many. Simply putting a name to the resentment will open the door to healing. I'm sure TR is proud of her for sharing this - the great things God has done, so truthfully.

Pretty typical modern day viewpoint from a woman making decisions based on emotion. She “hated” him for his success which obviously provided her some moderate comfort in life financially. Entitlement is rampant today, makes me feel sorry for Thomas. Keep riding the Happy Life Happy Wife train my brother, she was 2 seconds from telling you to end your career.
@Enchantedrose345 ай бұрын
I can understand being in your emotions BUT learn from your mistakes and don't air it on here. In detail. Ugh. I feel so bad for him. And exactly she almost made him end his career, got a huge emotional reaction from him just to say well no you don't have to if God's called you to do this. Like girl what? I'm sorry your bored at home but stop putting your husband through it. Whose supported you and given you everything you've ever wanted.

So sad… her mission was to support her husband and not be selfish but pray he would glorify the Lord through it. Ephesians 5 is so clear….. Why is the “church” so confused in biblical marriage??? My heart breaks!
@StevieWonder8245 ай бұрын
No hate on her testimony at all. However, this is a great example of modern day American theology. “What special thing has God called me to do?” Because being a supportive spouse and parent isn’t good enough. I think it’s very interesting that at the end physical fitness and prayer is what got her through it yet scripture wasn’t referenced once in this whole video. I hope they get connected to a solid church. Poor theology will lead to selfishness which will lead to pain

What about his clear, Biblical call to lay down his life for his wife? What???
@Enchantedrose345 ай бұрын
Her airing out all her dirty laundry and disrespectful comments she made to her husband is awful. He's a great sweet man. He's said before he would never talk bad about her but she does it to him and so publicly. There's some things that are just better left unsaid and you keep between you and your partner. I watched the whole interview and she said that she " hated" him and just didn't like him. I was shocked that's so harsh. And she can blame it on postartum all she wants but post partum is not making you disrespect your husband now on camera. Also she said she held resentment towards him way before that. She's ungreatful.. and also kept referring to him as Thomas Rhett not just Thomas, thought that was bizarre. Anyways she's out of touch and honestly it hurt my heart to watch this because I've seen interviews with him and he has never said anything bad about her and is like the sweetest guy with such a pure heart.
@HotelCharliHill5 ай бұрын
@@StevieWonder824 I agree with all you said except the notion of "American theology" teaching us we have something big and special God wants us to do - this is actually plain from scripture but most people refuse to be stretched and just want a "normal, comfortable life" "glorifying the Lord in the little things" serving seldom and DEFINITELY not sacrificing anything for His glory. God's resources are unlimited. Every last one of us could be the next Billy Graham or Amy Carmichael if we were fully surrendering ALL to Him.
@HotelCharliHill5 ай бұрын
@@BraveMomsAcademy Who says he wasn't? And why should he lay down his calling from God just because she's bitter and selfish and resentful that he's got a big career? God gave him a platform (I have no idea how he uses it to glorify the Lord and point people ot Christ but I will assume he is), and she had no interest in doing her duty to support that. It was a really gross testimony. Also, a husband laying down his life for his wife doesn't mean abandoning his calling and putting the wife before God. I'm willing to be he would have LOVED it if she just traveled with him to every show, and she could have served the Church in every place. In fact many godly couples with a husband in the music biz do this.
@Enchantedrose345 ай бұрын
Wow I still can't believe she said I HATE you to her husband let alone announcing she said it to the world, hate is a strong word. This interview all around hurt my heart for Thomas. He's such a genuine soul and writes his songs about her. have some respect and God would want you to keep some things private between you and your husband.

I think honesty and vulnerability is something missing in the church. She didn’t say she hated him and stayed there-she shared the dark place she was in. Good for her for being open, knowing people like what’s right here in the comments would judge her, so others can find hope through her testimony!!! We all have a journey to go on, let’s learn to be honest about it and tell others so they can find freedom too…
