4:34 very well said about the calculation and precision. Even when I has upgraded from 150cc to a 300cc motorcycle, I took time to adjust to the power, because just a small twist of the throttle can pull you ahead easily on a powerful motorcycle. But, too much acceleration also means too much braking. Hence, with great power comes great responsibility! Ride Safe!!!

The new one is simply stunning and my desire to upgrade to a 650 from a 2014 model 390 just started building up. Until the 790 got launched. Where 790 wins for me (personal opinion) is its light weight, riding position and raw power. So hoping to upgrade to a 790 in sometime and catch you somewhere in Bangalore. Cheers mate!!

Something like a Versys, has enough power (0-100 in 4 .5 sec), windscreen to upright tour at 160kmph with no windblast, adjustable levers, suspension, can travel on all kinds of surfaces like bad roads, speed breakers etc without slowing down, can tour 200/250km at a go without butt breaks..

Here's what I want to know. I live in the US (Michigan) and I ride a Yamaha FZ6, which is pretty similar to the CBR650F/650R in terms of the market segment. Our highway speeds here are in the 80mph range (130kmh), but I never really get the opportunity to cruise at much higher speeds or even momentarily do 200kmh+ runs. Do you get such chances on Indian highways?
@vernoncrasto
@vernoncrasto 2 жыл бұрын
We sure do! Cops are not always around on most of the highways. And also the highways around Bangalore beyond a radius of 50kms seem like a good stretch to give some good throttle. You find a lot of bikes on the weekends. Bikers like going out for some early morning coffee!

Love your videos man! Since you've experienced both 250R and the R3 just how powerful is the R3? I'm thinking of buying a 250R for touring purposes (use a pulsar ug3 as of now) but many friends are suggesting to go with the R3 as I'll get bored of the 250r quite soon due to the low power. @@shank240 Vibrations on RR are minimal and acceptable. Go ride one and you may feel the same. The vibration levels will become a bit high if riding for too long at the same rpm. i.e riding at 6000rpm for 20-30 min continuously. If your rpm is varying, you won't notice much vibration at all. Wait until jan 2020. New RR is coming. It is rumoured to get many many new features like how the new RTR 200 has. It will not cost much more than current version and will be a lot more value

@@ajaykaushik2272 Thanks for the heads up ! Didn't know a new version was expected withing 6 months of last refresh. Are you a owner ? Most owners told me the same thing...if you push being 90 lot of vibrations creep in

@@shank240 Yes. I have RR. Done 2500km now in 1.5 mth. Vibrations are there. But its a single cylinder. The vibrations don't bother you much unless you ride constantly at same rpm. If you keep varying the rpm slightly through your ride, the vibrations won't be much of a bother. Even at 150kmh, the vibrations are minimal. The vibration levels are very similar to RTR 200. Maybe CBR is slightly smoother, but this is better bike overall

Damn Man, the bike sounds sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeet after 7k. The looks and this screaming engine is probably the only deptt. where the 790 does not stand well against your honda, Ph the reliability too!. How is the seating position on this one? What mileage can I get out of it? and can it do track and tour both? Since you have put me in dilemma now. :D. An exhaust note video of this bike would be massively appreciated!!!!

Seating posture is well committed for track as well as touring putpose. Getting a mileage of 20 to 22kmpl.
