Home Free is one of the best a capella groups going. They do every genre and they don't do covers, they do upgrades. This song is about a hundred years old and was originally Blue Grass. You need to hear their version of Johnny Cash's Ring of Fire. They also do Boys to Men End of the Road. You can go to their channel and just pick out any song you see that you know and like and listen to them. We haven't found a bad one yet. If you go down this rabbit hole your subscribers will grow quickly. The Home Fries (that's what the fans are called) will start coming here in packs.

Six months or so ago, I was listening to this song as my introduction to Home Free. Today, this Home Fry is totally addicted. I must have a dose of Home Free every day. FYI, they can sing everything! Buckle your seat belt and listen to them cover Boyz2Men's "End of the Road." ❤❤❤

This is one of the most popular Home Free songs. It was the first song I ever heard from Home Free & I was instantly hooked. It really showcases the talent of these 5 men (their tight harmonies, Tim Foust's bass & Adam Rupp's incredible beatboxing). They are my favorite a cappella group. This song is very old (about 100 yrs.) & is done in the bluegrass country style. It was used in the movie "Oh Brother Where Art Thou" starring George Clooney. Some of my favorites are "Take Me Home Country Roads", "In The Blood", "Blue Ain't Your Color", "How Great Thou Art", "Ring Of Fire", "Elvira", "Hillbilly Bone", "Helplessly Hoping", "Seven Bridges Road", "American Pie", "Brother In Arms", "One Man Band", "Listen To The Music", "Sea Shanty Medley", "Skull & Bones" etc.

Check out "Ring of Fire", "O Holy Night", "Auld Lang Syne", "How Great Thou Art", "God Bless the USA with Lee Greenwood" just to name a few. Tim Foust, the bass, has blown out speakers. Welcome to the rabbit hole that is Home Free. The singer that lead off, Austin Brown, has since left the group.

Just subscribed with hopes for more Home Free. They are the best! They do a huge variety of music and each have a very impressive vocal range. They will make you dance, cry and fall out of your seat laughing. They have great personalities and sense of humor and are genuinely good people. I don't even think of them as an acapella group anymore but just my favorite band. Thanks for the reaction. Looking forward to more! Enjoy your Home Free journey!.

Great Reaction!! Welcome to Home Free rabbit hole. The group started in 2000/2001 by brothers Chris and Adam Rupp They are the only country A Capella ( all vocals no instruments)group but they are honestly do much more than just country music they can sing any genre and they do. They won The Sing Off season 4 2013 that's where they became very popular. There is no lead singer in the group. They each ( except Adam R )sings the song and who’s ever voice or voices sound right for the song gets the lead unless it is a bass/ baritone song then that’s Tim or Chance.A lot of time each member have a part in the song.Adam R has a beautiful tenor voice but it’s rare to hear him sing a solo part Fans of Home Free are known as Home Fries and are very loyal to the guys. Adam Rupp: Beatboxer Extraordinaire -Tenor can make any sound imaginable (A whole drum kit, harmonica (his Nomonica we call it )plane flyovers, trains, castanets, bugs ,birds etc).Co founder from Mankato Minnesota. Rob Lundquist :Lead tenor(beard and glasses) very soulful voice and master whistler from Minneapolis,Minnesota Tim Foust :Bass (had long dark hair now short with grey ) 5+ octave range can go so low he blows speakers or sky high from Nederland,Texas Austin.Brown:High Tenor ( Long wavy hair ) from Tifton Georgia He left the group in June of 2024 and Adam Bastien has taken his place.. Adam Chance(Aka Chance):Baritone/Bass deep, rich voice(Does the juice harp sound in Man Of Constant Sorrow) has short dark hair short beard from Baldwin County,Alabama.Replaced Chris Rupp ( Adams Brother and co founder in 2016) They have collaborated with many singers and legends Don McLean: Vincent Don McLean:American Pie Oak Ridge Boys:Elvira Kenny Rodgers:Children Go Where I Send Thee (Please watch the end message) Alabama:Christmas In Dixie Mark Wills:Don’t Laugh At Me ( important message at the end ) Lee Greenwood & US Airforce Band:God Bless The USA Any many many more. They have amazing songwriters in the group Tim, and Chance and Adam B ( Austin was also a songwriter) so they have a very large playlist of covers and original songs End of the Road (Boyz 2 Men cover ) Helplessly Hoping (5 part harmony masterpiece ) Butts Medley/ Remix Can’t Outrun You Brothers In Arms Skull And Bones ( original written by Chance for Ubisoft video game Skull And Bones) Life Is A Highway Stand By Me I’ve Seen (Original by Tim) Your Man Crazy Life ( original and last video with Austin ) Something To Talk About ( first video with Adam B ) I Still Believe In You Hark! The Herald Angels Sing The Thanksgiving Song Let Me Come Home ( Bastien original) The Greatest Gifts Of All ( Tim Original Santa Claus Is Coming To Town Your A Mean One Mr Grinch Where Are You Christmas Mayday(DON’T WATCH TILL YOU ARE VERY FAMILIAR WITH THE GROUP AND THEIR RANGES ) There's not a song that you pick from their 200+ catalog that is bad I haven't found one yet. They are just funny, down to earth, humble nice guys. They are the best A Cappella group there is Sorry for the long read 🏠🍟😊

Love Home Free. They are country but they sing so much more. They are a cappella so they use no instruments. Their beatboxer is amazing. Three of those amazing singers are also songwriters so they write their own songs as well as sing covers. The bass has a 5 octave range so he can sing super low and then sing up with the tenors. They can all beatbox to a degree. Try End of the Road to hear more soul!!! Butts medley is hilarious, Auld Lang Syne for New Years and to hear wonderful harmonies. Good one Devante!!!

And...another one falls down the rabbit hole. You are so doomed. We’ll save you a chair. You’re about to be buried in Home Fries. Brace yourself. Home Free is the only country a capella group out there, but they can - and do - sing every genre. And they have no lead singer. Every one of these men can take the lead, and they pick the lead for each song by who does it the most justice. During quarantine, they kept all us Home Fries sane by dropping new videos every couple of weeks while they were scattered across the country. God bless ‘em. All the men can beat box, but Adam Rupp is in a league of his own. He’s a world-class vocal percussionist and there’re good reasons he’s called a “Freak of Nature” and “the man who swallowed a drum kit.” For more of Adam’s incredible beat boxing, check out Sea Shanty medley (the man makes castanets, for Pete’s sake), his no-monica solo on Working For A Living and Ain’t Going Down Til The Sun Comes Up (that video is on Facebook), Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer (sleigh bells? seriously?) or his drum solos. For more of Tim’s seismic basso profundo, listen to Brothers In Arms, Misty Mountains (his collaboration with Peter Hollens), Folsom Prison Blues, or Ring Of Fire (the Sing Off version). This man’s range is incredible. You won’t want to miss his 5-octave run in 5 seconds in “Do You Hear What I Hear?” Tim also has a solo channel which you can view at www.timfoustmusic.com For Chance’s smooth baritone/bass, check out Skull & Bones, Down to the Honky Tonk, Brothers In Arms, Cover Me Up, I Can’t Outrun You, and Folsom Prison Blues. (Awesome... a basso profundo and a baritone/bass in the same group.) FYI, Chance is singing (throat singing) the jaw harp sounds - without the jaw harp - in Man Of Constant Sorrow. If you enjoy sea shanties, you must check out Skull and Bones, the official video.. The folks at Ubisoft heard Home Free’s Sea Shanty Medley, and contacted them to write a shanty for their upcoming video game of the same name. Chance has a particular fondness for shanties, so this was right up his alley. Chance was formerly a member of Street Corner Symphony from 2010 - 2016 before joining Home Free in 2016 after the departure of co-founder Chris Rupp. You can find his solo work and collaborations at www.theadamchance.com For Rob’s soulful tenor, check out End of the Road, Blue Ain’t Your Color, or Bless The Broken Road. (Blue-eyed soul is in good hands with The Beard.) One Home Fry has described him as the vocal equivalent of a Swiss Army knife because of his versatility. Just wait until you hear him whistle! Rob and his friend Buegs host a podcast called “The Avid Indoorsmen” where they review movies, etc. You’ll find Buegs’ cameo in the Home Free video “The Butts Remix.” He’s wearing overalls. Don’t worry - you can’t miss him. You can check out their podcast at www.spreaker.com/podcast/the-avid-indoorsmen--3265024 For Austin’s soaring tenor, check out Crazy, Moonshine, When A Man Loves a Woman, or Bring Him Home. (But bolt down your chair ‘cause he’ll sing you right out of it.) Austin left HF in June 2024. He’s newly married, and hasn’t been at home for Christmas in ten years due to Home Free’s heavy touring schedule. There are hundreds of videos with him, though, so you’ll still run into his work. You can also check out his solo work at www.austinbrownmusic.com Adam Bell-Bastien stepped into Austin’s tenor spot in June 2024. He debuted at the Grand Ole Opry with the Home Free men on June 22, 2024. He’s a fine addition to the band. Now that we’ve had a chance to hear him, this man’s tenor is smooth as glass. Check out his performance on I Still Believe In You, Something To Talk About, and Let Me Come Home. So, yeah. Three of the five members of Home Free are named Adam. You’ll hear them referred to as “Chance,” “Bastien,” and “Rupp.” If they’re just using the name Adam, they’re talking about Adam Rupp, vocal percussionist extraordinaire. For their humor, check out Butts Remix, Working For A Living, Life Is A Highway, Between A Rock And A Heartache, Make You Feel My Love, Brother, and Champagne Taste on a Beer Budget (The older video. Tim wrote the worst country song he could think of, and it remains one of their most requested.) A word about “Brother” - if you want to hear the lyrics, you’re going to have to listen with your eyes closed, ‘cause otherwise you’ll never get past the humor of the video to actually hear what they’re singing. For their amazing arrangement skills, check out Do You Hear What I Hear. (Adam’s arrangement. Nothing else like it.) For their tight harmonies, check out Helplessly Hoping, How Great Thou Art, Brothers In Arms, or Auld Lang Syne. For their mashups, check out Thinking Out Loud/Let’s Get It On, Fishing in the Dark/Boondocks, Country Fried Pop, or Woman, Amen/Female. The Home Free men are masters of collaborations. They put the spotlight on their collaborator, supporting them with wonderful vocals and amazing harmonies. Check out God Bless the USA with Lee Greenwood, American Pie and Vincent with Don McLean, Elvira with The Oak Ridge Boys, Children Go Where I Send Thee with the late Kenny Rogers, Don’t Laugh At Me with Mark Wills, Christmas In Dixie with Alabama, Delta Dawn with Brooke Eden, or Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For with Peter Hollens. Get at least five videos under your belt and then listen to Mayday - the official video. After Mayday, you’ll be ready for Tim and Austin doing My Maria or Tim’s mashup of Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow/Stay. Then, when you come up for air, check out Rob’s and Austin’s “Two Country Singers Try Singing Opera.” You’ll need smelling salts after that one. Don’t miss their official videos. The Home Free men will often do a straight, gorgeous vocal performance, but they’ll add elements of humor to the video that will leave you chuckling or even laughing out loud. (Folsom Prison Blues, Between A Rock And A Heartache, Make You Feel My Love, Working For A Living, Brother, Life Is A Highway). And God help you when you get hit with the Home Free Curse. They’ll cover a song you absolutely cannot stand and make you like it against your will. I’d been hit by the curse four times before I gave up and quit counting. I’m not the only victim of the Home Free Curse, either. Although their covers are amazing, don’t miss their original compositions. They range from the the poignant (So Long Dixie) to the patriotic (Land Of the Free). These include Dive Bar Saints (one of my favorites), Road Sweet Road, Catch Me If You Can, Lonely Girl’s World, The Stargazer Trilogy (Give Me A Sign, Stargazer Lilies, MR), Champagne Taste On A Beer Budget, Love Me Like That, Skull And Bones, and many, many more. Their synergy is phenomenal. Each is an artist in his own right, but man - when they sing together, magic happens. Wicked talent polished by decades of hard work. (Unchained Melody, Castle On The Hill, Seven Bridges Road, Only In America) To paraphrase another Home Fry, “Their covers are upgrades, their medleys are brilliant, their collaborations with the original artists are inspirational, and their original songs are masterpieces.” You are doomed, Home Fry. Bring ketchup.

If you like pop from the 2010’s, check their “Country Fried Pop Medley”. My suggestions for other artists: If you like Contemporary Blues, give the girls from Larkin Poe a try. And a new pop girly with a big voice, look out for Faouzia.

Yes, all of them can, to some extent, can do sound effects just not necessarily beatboxing. They are country artists in the sense that it's their favorite genre, maybe, but Rob (your fav with the big beard) trained in opera singing for a time, the first singer is a heavily trained musical theater performer, they were both music majors with serious training. Tim Foust is their bass singer although he does have a five and a half octave range and also does the higher harmonies. All five of them individually are phenomenal (and I am probably overly critical of singers) and have solos they've recorded. Just enjoy the journey they will take you on. I'll recommend listening to their version of Nessun Dorma (opera) and, forget it, anything else they sing. They've all trained and worked at perfecting their craft and will never disappoint.

Why is is that this song is people's introduction to Home Free about 95+ percent of the time? Their version of this song is more bluegrass than anything. Home Free is billed as the only country a cappella group but they do all kinds of music. You mentioned Pentatonix. Avi Kaplan from PTX joined them for Ring Of Fire, then did a quick walk through on a video they started filming just hours later, a Tim Foust original called Champagne Taste (On a Beer Budget). Tim is the bass singer and he's from Texas. Austin Brown, front and center, is from Georgia and Adam Chance (black vest) is from Alabama. Rob Lundquist (glasses) and Adam Rupp (beatboxer) are from Minnesota. If you want to hear Rob and soul check out their video for End of the Road. I have two other recommendations for you. Home Free - 9 to 5 + Beatboxing Breakdown, October 27, 2015 is from a live show, filmed by a fan from the audience. They all have their turns at beatboxing. Home Free have an ongoing series of videos called From the Vault, showing behind the scenes of filming their videos. The one for this one is the last one released, Episode 31. They're all great fun.

Yeah...they really DON'T just sound like a buncha white guys, do they? 🤣 Love that you didn't say it, but I felt you.

Hello, I am new here. I have subscribed and I am glad I found you, because it is nice to have something clean to watch with my granddaughter who is also very much into music. We are by no means prudes and it is nearly impossible to watch anything these days without some language, but there is "some" and then there is every other word!, and I feel like she gets enough exposure to a constant stream of foul language at school, she doesn't need it in my home. I want her to have a place to come to that is filled with love, nice memories and a refuge from the world, so thank you for that. I have a couple requests if you don't mind. I would love you to do some stuff from a group called PostModern Jukebox. They are an instrumental group who invite vocalists to do their own renditions of popular songs. I think you would like postmodern jukebox featuring Haley Reinhart singing a cover of Radio Heads song "Creep". kzbin.info/www/bejne/o2TPd2WneqZlmdk and also Postmodern Jukebox featuring Morgan James singing Aerosmiths song "Dream On". kzbin.info/www/bejne/j6KXfHRmorqheZo I can't wait to see what you think.
