Here in the Netherlands, the song has become very well known by the folk singer Andre Hazes. It is She believes in me but Do has made it He believes in me.

For this show they invite professional artist and they are challenged to sing songs out of their comfort zone. The artists cheer each other on. At the end of the seasons a winner is declared but I never felt that was really the point. Do (O as in bOAt) is an amazing artist. The story of the song is that she disappoints her partner time and again but he keeps believing in her and seeing a future for the two of them. A beautiful song and story and wonderfully sung. Hey Paul , great to see you reacting to Dominique from this brilliant show. She had huge success when she was younger as a featured vocalist on DJ Sammy's version of Bryan Adam's 'Heaven'. As you can hear , such a beautiful vocalist. Btw , there are some incredible performances from this show by various Dutch artists. Glennis Grace and Floor Jansen to name two. It translates to "He Believes In Me". She's actually switched around the gender from the original "Zij Geloft In Mij", an early 80s hit which after his death became "anthemic" for legendary Dutch singer Andre Hazes. The tune is certainly familiar as it is a Dutch language adaptation (but not strict translation) of the Kenny Rogers hit "She Believes In Me". Do's performance here actually went to the top of the Dutch charts in 2011.

Let us start saying Netherlandish instead of the confusing English word Dutch
